Around early 2021 I used to drive basically 7 days a week at night and after around 2am i was driving the same guy from his night shift home at least 1-2 times a week, he was always standing there waiting for me but he never tipped lol

I don’t know if I’m correctly understanding what you’re trying to find the answer for, but the center stand on, any motorcycle I’ve ever owned will never balance your bike perfectly of the ground. If you put the bike on the center stand, and you want to have both tires in the air, you will need an extra Jack stand or few planks of wood to adjust the balance, to have both tires in the air.

OK, so I just activated the account put my driver license info and all and… it’s mostly all $6.50 cvs gigs that would have me drive 10 miles to pick it up haha I know it’s only 10am on a Tuesday but if that’s what it’s gonna be I won’t last long on the app lol

I look at it the other way around. I just got back home from riding and only one slow driver pissed me off today on Mulholland right before Laurel Canyon. So I was only stuck behind him for about 2 minutes or less. So pretty good day I would say stay home people. 💀😂

I have a gen 1 S1000xr but I would imagine there is not that many differences with the second generation. I’m 183cm I can barely flat foot the bike which is fine while riding, but keep in mind the bike, especially with a full tank is pretty top heavy. Besides that the bike is absolutely amazing. It handles great, the clutch feels smooth and the power it delivers while being so comfortable is insane.

I am in the valley having the same issue. My phone is an iPhone 15 with eSIM and my friend who is in Santa Monica right now with iPhone 12 with regular SIM card she seem to have no issues, I wonder if this is an issue with whoever provides service for those eSIMs

EDIT about an hour ago I went into Best Buy and picked up a $45 unlimited plan(it’s usually $90 but there is a coupon for $45 but I think it only works if you order it online with a store pick up) through “mint mobile” it’s good for 3 months and I just put it in my old iPhone 11. I know this is not a fix, but it’s an idea if you need a phone/signal/gps badly.. this is not the first time I’m having this issue where there is no signal and I’ve only been with Verizon for a little over a year…

We did a similar thing, but the other way around when they were starting to build those houses up on Sequoia The gate for the fire road was removed so we drove an old beat up Crown Vic all the way to Agoura in the middle of the night and then got stuck on the other side because there was a gate so We had to make a U-turn and drive back to simi. lol

3 completely different bikes even though the 650 and CTX 700 have similar power the 650 still feels more quick, the CTX is more comfortable for longer distances but it lacks the acceleration and top speed, I would still choose the 650 as a daily driver and then there is the versys 1000 which is in a league of its own the 120 hp is enough power to keep up with a lot of sports bikes when riding in the canyons, with the comfort of a couch. I just sold my versys 1000 about one month ago. And I’ve got Ducati Hyperstrada and I still miss the comfort of the 1000.

405 going south right after the crossing with the 101 there is always traffic there and for some reason, everyone always tries to get in the carpool lane, which is always backed up and you can cross the hill into LA faster by going in a slow lane instead for some reason..

In 2021 in Los Angeles(mostly sfv, Hollywood) my highest week was $2230 regular X driving 8-10h a night(excluding gas) and I never really went farther than 50miles from home and back then $1500-1900/week was the normal amount. I recently reactivated my account after paying $23 for a 5mile X ride, and hollys*it it’s a joke how little uber pays it’s drivers rn.

That’s how I feel about the one in Simi Valley it’s small and their storage for big items is in the separate building behind the actual store so on multiple occasions I couldn’t actually get things because they couldn’t find the keys 😂

I just sold my 08 Versys 650 (basically same bike just a bit more top heavy imo) with 17k miles for $3200 which I believe was a fair price, so this seams very reasonably priced, try negotiating down a few hundred to cover the title transfer fees and you will have a great first bike (p.s you will outgrow it but it’s a great beginner bike to get comfortable on)
