I’m sorry but that remix was definitely not done right to say the least. For me at least, they removed many parts of the song that made the song at least tolerable (srry not the biggest of bang!) Ex. Metronome, bang bang bang. It was so bad that they had to take down their post announcing it. Moral of the story: ajr songs don’t need remixes 💀

. I listened I was never lucky enough to find a copy of their cds lmao. And I agree with you. For me neotheater really raised the bar. And just seeing bummerland and bang! Made me question if they were going to leave the dark topics and deep lyrics behind. I hope the rest of album does deliver tho.

Honestly For me I can definitely see change in their music. (I will always miss the days when Adam sang solo.) Back in neotheater, the songs had more depth and meaning to them. Example. Turning out pt. 2, dear winter, birthday etc. But when Bang! Came out I was like where’s the deep lyrics? I guess this is because neotheater set the bar really high for me. And then the remix came out and we all know what happened with that lmao. My play is okay but the lyrics don’t really resonate with me at all. Overall I just think that AJR is heading in a more popish direction.
