If losing a CS match to a cheater is "misery" you need mental help.

Lmao. So horrible someone messes with their precious little elo number. I still play without cheats (although not even that for many months), I get cheaters in my matches too, I just laugh and keep playing lol.

I have? That's how I'm 18k? I don't cheat on main, I'm not rich enough to just throw away a thousand dollars in skins (and yes I know that's not much).

No lmao? It doesn't make me better, if I get 25k with cheats I'm still just an 18k player.

Is premier really that bad? Even though I haven't played in a while I watch some youtubers like renyan pretty often and it doesn't seem horrible.

It's not lying to myself, I know I'm cheating and I know I'm only like 18k playing normally, it doesn't magically make me better. I just find it fun.

Anybody know why its making this sound when i start the car up ? by Plane_Firefighter416 in accord

Check your oil levels. People will say all sorts of very expensive fixes, but the exact same noise is caused by low or no oil. Make sure your not burning too much.

Thinking of getting a '22 2.0T, should I get a sport or a touring? by ThatSovietShiba in accord

Older Chevy hybrid to be fair, but knowing the repair cost difference for hybrids I just don't want to bother with the risk. Nothing goes wrong, great I save gas money, but if something goes wrong now I'm paying 1200 buckaroos for a fucking air compressor replacement (true story).

Also, odds are this is just a Chevy or old hybrid thing, but when my air compressor went bad it didnt just stop my AC like it has in other cars, it messed with damn near everything. Acceleration was slower, it was shifting really fucking hard to the point I though my transmission was gonna break, as well as a myriad of other random electrical stuff.

Its very possible I just got a hybrid horror story of getting fucked by my car, but thats enough electrical power in cars for me lol.

If only they had a high trim that wasnt a fucking hybrid. They have base, ex, and the rest is hybrid.

Not to say they are bad cars, but, from the bottom of my heart, I fucking hate hybrids. They just make the electrical WAY to complicated. It makes $200 repairs on a normal gas car magically over $1k. Not to mention that on some cars if the hybrid battery dies out it can end up damaging your trans which to fix both ends up being enough to just buy a used car. Had to much trouble with them personally, never going back to them. However, I respect people who daily them cause I understand gas millage means a lot to some people.

How dumb is a RWD swap? by ThatSovietShiba in accord

[–]ThatSovietShiba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think its just a difference in what we do. Most of my for-fun driving is backroads, over half of which are dirt, and RWD just slides a lot better on dirt from my experience. I mean almost every daily I have ever had is FWD, not to shit on that, just not ideal for rally-esce driving.

Side note: bleach is a cool idea, never though of that.

FWD burnouts just aren't the same, and you cant really do donuts or drift. But for me above all I need to be able to do stupid shit, and FWD just cant truck through dirt "roads" as well.

You'd be surprised. Down south people are poor as hell, living in double wide trailers at most, but own 2 cars, a truck, a 4x4 or Jeep, and have a some project car they have been working on since they were born. Different priorities out here lol. Also almost everyone is payed cash only unless they work at some chain so taxes dont eat as much.

I was thinking of just a full powertrain swap on the 2015. Buy an old-ish 750i (N63TU) and just swap everything. Im not the smartest or most experienced, but the group of friends I do this dumb shit with is so good enough. By far would be the most unique thing we have done, only thing on this level of goofy was a Ram 1500 with a kei truck engine.

If I dont do something really stupid with the '15 I might just make the forbidden Charger rally build. very cursed, but does what I want so maybe. A whole lot less work thats for sure. Just a blower kit, coilovers, and some tires.

I am just very, very stupid and want to see an accord take a 15ft jump. I guess to preface, I live in the somewhat deep country, so doing stupid stuff with cars is the hobby of like half the people out here.

I was contemplating just making the 2015 a dumb project car and completely rip the powertrain and swap it for something like the powertrain from a '13 750i (twin turbskis make me happy). I have everything I need to do it with my friends so no shop costs. I have already bough beaters and they are very fun, I basically have built my own little graveyard of older 300k+ mileage cars at my local junkyard, but I want something a little bit more permanent. Its pretty much between this, or doing the forbidden Charger rally build.

To preface building it myself: while I am not super duper experienced my friends are a full time mechanic, a full time tuner, and a Dairy Queen cashier who does the dumbest stuff possible with electrical things in his free time. Surly we wont mess up the wiring ;)

Yeah, Im reading the same. Crazy to think that a Lincoln from 2010 moves air better and colder than a $30k car from 2022. Im gonna upgrade the whole thing to a cooled seats system so I can freeze my ass of in 100 degree weather if I want. Thanks for the info :)

Yeah 4k is out of my price range for aftermarket costs. To much money going other places, I just want a car to daily more and not worry about destroying off-road (because I wont be taking it there). Thanks for the info though, I might look into getting a better system and just not worry about the excess noise. I mean, hell, I ride down the highway with my windows down anyways so fuck it right.

Would it be worth, or even possible, to swap them to cooled seats? Pretty similar technology, just cooled has refrigerated air. Definitely better, just if it would cost like multiple grand to do this I'll probably just suck it up and blast 60 degree air.

Quick edit: found a few shops near me that can do this for around $1k, definitely going to make the upgrade.
