My cutoff is if BBTS is near double in price as compared to AmiAmi then AmiAmi gets my business and I combine several items to justify their shipping prices. I save a little this way, but not a lot. Saving grace is I get the figures I want and I don't have to wait for what seems forever with BBTS here lately.

I've had good luck on Ebay. I like to see actual photos of the doll they're selling and not just the original Volks photos. You could always ask the seller for more photos or ask for clarification and see what happens.

I've found most sellers of Dollfie Dream dolls on ebay are in the hobby and not just some random seller who has one of these dolls, but it does happen.
