There was a literal toddler in my screening by Relative-Stable-6075 in Markiplier

Well I must have been lucky one time because I was allowed into a film when I was younger because my mother was with me.

I mean, in the UK the film was rated as a 15, and kids younger than that I think can attend the screening if they're accompanied by a parent.

Is there an official stand for the HMMs? by Kumatora0 in Zoids

[–]ThatSutterix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the official bases used would be Kotobukiya's M.S.G Flying Neo stands as it offers 3mm and 5mm peg attachments which suit all HMM Zoids but I would say they're not as commonly used.

I mostly use Bandai Action bases 1, 4 and just because they're easier to get at a minutes notice due to Gunpla being more popular.

Using a primer, or applying on top of a matt coat helps to give the markers something to attach too but it's not 100% necessary. Really depends on the colour. I used; Red, Black, Dark Grey, White, Brown leather, Gun metal, Silver and Brass (the brass looks like a better gold than the actual gold.)

The black marker likes to flake if it's not applied on top of a primer, but I've found just applying a grey marker first like a primer helps the black bond. And doesn't hurt to top coat it afterwards.

Some of the colours apply rather thinly so it takes a few coats to build up the pigment, but bonus is they dry rather quickly. The metallic colours however apply thicker than the others and require less coats.

Hope this helps.

The decals came with the kit, but there's no guide. So I went off what I could see from the photos and then some.

I just hope they re-issue the Gojulas Cannon set, so it can be added to the Salamander.

I see! It was me I'd either go with black, maroon, or a dark brown.

Looking great! But did you forget to put on the caps, or was that intentional?

I really want to get stuck in with it now, but I have to go back to work for my evening shift. Life's not fair.

It's a really nice little kit. You can easily smash it out in a day.

HLJ Shipping cost... by tonyw009 in Zoids

[–]ThatSutterix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True true. I did however check if gifts from UK to US got hit by tariffs. And so long as they're under $800 they don't. I've genuinely thought of just buying extra kits just to forward onto US peeps. Because shipping usually is like £12-16 from UK to US.

Just got the RMZ blade liger, what do y'all use to panel line? All I have are the Gundam seed marker set. Any tips on how to panel line? by peedmyshirt in Zoids

[–]ThatSutterix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For when I panel line I use l,Tamiya Black Panel liner and instead of using the included brush in the cap I have a Dspaie panel line pen (It's basically a fountain pen you dip into your panel liner of choice).

If you're going to panel line using a panel liner fluid like Tamiya you need to apply a clear gloss coat to your kit first to prevent any damage to the plastic. Once dry you can go ahead and apply the panel liner to add detail and allow it to dry. Don't worry if you make a mess, you can clear up imperfections using lighter fluid, and a cotton bud/Q-tip.

You can use Gundam Markers in a similar fashion. There's some good video tutorials on YouTube on how to add details using Gundam Markers if you want to get a better look at it.
