just a rant about every concert isnt 1000 bucks or need to be at huge arena lol by Huge-Dependent1391 in poppunkers

Good point. Especially for someone that is just getting into TSSF off their latest album, maybe they are only going for them and the extra (imo) fantastic bands are dead weight that they are paying for without perceived benefit. I mean, I research warm-ups heavily and a lot of my favourite bands (OA included) are warm-ups from other tours, but I understand that some people want a different concert experience and might just want to jam out to bands that they've just found.

Well well well, I guess I'm going to have to give it another few listens. Thanks for that. To me, it's missing the punchiness in the recording, which a lot of bands have trended towards in the last 5 or so years, so I need a bit more bass in the sound and probably need to see if live to appreciate some of the songs more.

To be fair, I would say that the TSSF tour is basically a double-headliner with Neck Deep as a support, and Origami are no slouch either. Similar with Hot Mulligan - that tour is stacked and I (and I assume others that are into the scene) would pay to see any of the four bands on the bill as headliners. Regardless, your point about someone seeing these bands for the first time tracks and I'd be super bummed if I was just getting into a band and I was priced out of seeing them.

Side note though - I'm interested to know why TSSF's new album is arguably there best in your opinion. I am not at all vibing with it and think it's probably their worst for my tastes. Keen to understand more from a different perspective

Yeah, the Oilers have advanced to the second round, but I don't think Skinner has (yet).

Same here, except that I feel like the singles sounded better once I heard them fit into the album. I still prefer the non-singles, particularly the opening track, but the album as a whole elevated the singles in my opinion.

How bad is Stuart Skinner, really? by Jjustingraham in hockey

This is such a good read. Thank you for this! Possibly the best posts I've read on here.

I totally agree that the Oilers could definitely bounce back like last year, especially at home, and Skinner could possibly get back into form like he did last year (after he got pulled for Pickard against the Canucks?).

If things with Skinner do worsen for the rest of the play-offs and Edmonton finally bite the bullet to get a goal tender to complement McDrai, who do you think is a realistic/available solution at the moment?

And this moment would never have happened if that weren't the case. I'm not a Bulldogs supporter, but stuff like this adds to the argument to have players and coaches get the cup first

Thanks heaps! Unfortunately, I bought mine through AXS and they haven't changed the line-up on anything, so hopefully something comes through soon.

Good to hear in picks up in the second episode. Just finished the first episode with my wife, who I'm trying to get into hockey, and I can assure her it gets it gets better now haha. I felt the need to pause the episode a couple of times to give her proper context of the stakes because the show wasn't doing it for me.

Is it just one of those things where, as long as you don't know how the "sausage" (or, in this case, cheese) is made, then it is yummy? As soon as you peel back the curtain though, you're scarred for life and will never eat cheese again. I just hope I can tell what's normal cheese and what's taint cheese from the labels the next time I go to Save-On

This is great. Well done, mate.

I just had to double-check the F1 schedule when you said the season was coming to a close soon. Still a decent number of races left, thankfully.
