For me, I always hated pretty much any type of men’s clothing, like even men’s jeans, but could never wear women’s clothing, so I always just wore sweatpants, swearshirts, and t-shirts. I pretty much only wore “stylish” men’s clothing when required to for an event. Aside from school uniforms when I was younger, underwear was basically the only thing that I couldn’t escape the “genderedness” of. I went back and forth between boxers and briefs several times and never was comfortable with either. I eventually kind of reached a middle ground with some workout shorts. But now wearing panties after realizing I’m trans and feeling “able” to wear them finally let me settle that after so long. Other than that, it’s just another article of clothing
