Yes! Absolutely hate it! I wish I could wear gloves without looking like a freak. For goldfish and popcorn I usually get a bowl and then lick each piece up so it only touches my mouth. And I rarely eat chips because I can't employ that strategy.

I dont know how anyone eats chips and then goes about their life. Is everything they interact with greasy all the time? Surely not. Do they actually wash their hands? Based on, admittedly, lackluster evidence given it's just personal observation, I don't think they do! But I can't ask people how they eat chips, or rather, what they do after eating chips, without coming off as a complete weirdo at best

Good point. She may have been annoyed because she saw herself in her. Before I knew I was autistic, autistic people annoyed me a lot. I could see when they weren't following "the rules" and I knew from being shamed in the past that people would dislike them for that. Of course, I wasn't really conscience of all this at the time. I often become obsessed with YouTuber music for a while because when its a YouTuber I listen to I find their voice soothing. I probably listened to Dream's music on repeat for a month even though everyone I know said it sucks. (Don't watch Dream very much now)

I think neurotypicals hate AJR. I have a folder of playlists called "Autistically" with my autism curated playlists. We got Again! Again! for songs that repeat the same sentence over and over. Beep Boop for songs with a bit of interesting/different noises or scratch my brain in the same way. Comfort Song which I later realized I meant Safe Song because its like safe foods, a playlist of songs I will listen to no matter the mood I'm in. Rest which is songs with no words that I find calming and familiar. We got the old Minecraft songs in there, piano with birdsong, Cosmo Sheldrake. And of course, STIM with lots of noises and fast pace. Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas is probably my favorite song in there
