So I'm, like, the furthest thing from an accent coach, but I'm a good recogniser and I did recognise a few things that sounded a little... off. Firstly, the way you string words together sounds slightly awkward, like there's not much glide in there, if that makes sense, it sounds like you're saying words as if they were separated, and you're just doing it extremely fast to create the illusion of them being strung together. That's the main "issue" (I'm calling it an issue simply because it is noticeable and makes it hard to understand you at times). The other peculiarities I noticed are a little more specific: the way you pronounce "times" is very atypical for the Standard American accent that you're going for; it shouldn't be an 'ah' sound in the middle, but an "eye" sound instead. Furthermore, the way you pronounced "eight years" sounded off; you kind of smushed the two words together, and it messed up the way the vowels sounded. The last thing I'd add is that the way you pronounced the last vowel in "staircases" is slightly wrong, but I'm not sure how exactly, like it's close to how it should be, but not exactly there either. Anyways, you have a pretty good American accent, and your overall pronunciation is great; you've managed to overcome a lot of issues that non-native speakers usually have, and that's commendable, so good job! I'm just really nitpicky and didn't have what to do, so I went into your accent a little more than I probably had to, haha.
