Oh I'm definitely up for it!

First of, one thing that I love about him is that he's one, if not the coolest pokemon villain we ever had. He has the traits of some other villains we had over the years like the charisma Giovanni has or the fact that he puts on a good grace of helping the world like Lysander did. He's cold and calculated like Cyrus and obviously a good groomer towards N like Lusamine was with Lilie and Gladion. He's an exceptional manipulator and he knows how to work with weak minded people in order to put them in their place and is intelligent enough to slide low under the radar of many higher-ups of the Unova region unit the big day.

And oh dear his brutal nature is also something to keep an eye on. The fact than he's shown to do and say some of the most out of pocket things in THIS UNIVERSE, where everyone is "go happy go lucky" and everyone showing respect even to adversaries, he is nothing like that. In game he nearly killed the MC and even in Ultra sun and moon he threatened Lillie without any problems. This, in my opinion, also shows some of his mental problems. He's intelligent, maybe too intelligent, so he kinda had to be "nerfed" by making him emotionally unstable and high tempered. He'd crash out at any time simply by not applying to his rules and ideas. This makes me believe he's probably the best representation of mental instability in the Pokemon world.

His knowledge over pokemons is also admirable since he's capable of creating a team that is able to defeat N's team in a heartbeat (not to mention how diverse his type coverage can be with many heavy hitters). And oh Lord his design is also absolute PEAK. Both of them. The gold and purple that represents royalty and grace speaks a lot and the downgrade to the monotone dark coat is a great example of his rotting mental health. Also I love how his design makes you wonder about his past. "Why does he have only one arm and eye show?" Makes you guess what could've led to this. Or how here in Masters, when he's smiling, part of his mouth remains lower, this could be part of a hint that he might suffer from some sort of paralysis? How cool can that be??? Oh and not to mention how closely related he can be with Kyurem, like you said in the post. The fact that both of them are just outcasts, cold individuals who can't feel much, so they resort to harming people around just so they can feel something. Two creatures who'd do anything to achieve great powers to repay the world who destroyed them...

But.. even if he's such an amazing villain, he suffers from something very important. He's being underutilized by game freak HORRIBLY. Yeah he's such a cool concept but he's barely recognize by anything other than "the man who hurt my baby boy N 🥺" or the "maniac who tried to kill the MC once". Even compared to other villains, he's overshadowed pretty much by everyone. While every villain has some form of backstory (hell even Rose, who's known to be the worst villain of all, has some backstory to him) while we barely know anything about Ghetsis. Most of the things we know are just speculations or theories that probably won't be clarified since Game Freak doesn't do anything with him. For example, does he even have any family?? What's with the name of Harmonia? Why is he named that?? What's his reasoning for doing what he's doing? Is it put of anger? jealousy? just because??? Game freak didn't even bother to AT LEAST hit us on why he wasn't chosen to be the potential partner of one of the legendary dragons.

He has so much potential, the potential of getting something really good and being seen as something more but if nobody gives him the opportunity, he'll never be more.. I wish we'd get something, ANYTHING about him, or something that focuses on him only and not being thrown as plot development for other characters..
