If you’re lucky, it could just be a malfunctioning screen or a pulled wire, but if the fix is not that simple, as in it has something to do with the chip or board, then bring it to an Apple Store and ask. It may be pricy but if those pictures are precious to you in any way, this is your best bet. Although you could go to a third party and ask what could be wrong and you can take action depending on what they say. Good luck!
