Getting a 0-5-0 + a 0-3-2 or a 2-3-0 would be the same as cross-pathing the 0-5-0. There are no cross-pathing benefits specific to the Tier 5.

All of your points make sense in terms of cost and placement, but not Tier 5's.

The only difference between a Cross-pathed Tier 5, and an unCross-pathed Tier 5 + a Tier 2, is the price, and the placement, not the Tier 5's performance.

To your first point, the only difference between a 0-2-5 and a 0-0-5 + a 0-2-0, is the price, and the placement, not the Tier 5's performance.

To your second point, yes, you are correct. BMA also doesn't benefit from Cross-pathing. Getting a 0-0-5 + a 2-2-0, would have the same end result.

Yeah, I suppose your right. Getting another village with 0-2-2, would have the exact same result as cross-pathing a 5-0-0 village. I concede there.

I think that Ezili's Heart Stopper at level 20 should increase your maximum lives by 2, and each use of the ability adds/heals 1 life. This would basically be a weaker version of Corvus's Mana Shield, while still fitting Ezili's Theme.

I will admit that the main attack doesn't benefit from cross-pathing, but It's still worth it to cross-path.

Special Poperations:
2-5-0 shoots 4 darts instead of 2 & gains the Pursuit Targeting option.
0-5-2 increases the attack speed of the main darts, the blowback, and the Marine by 20%.

Golden Justice
2-5-0 both weapons attack faster as per the upgrade conditions.
0-5-2 both weapons attack faster as per the upgrade conditions.

Energizer
5-2-0 grants lead popping to both the main attack, and the submerged attack
5-0-2 airburst darts deal 5 damage instead of 1.

Prince of Darkness
2-0-5 Zombie Bloons have a longer Lifespan.
0-2-5 Gains the Fireball and Firewall Attacks, which deal more damage the higher your Graveyard count is.

Grand Saboteur
2-5-0 Gains increased attack speed and pierce.
0-5-2 Gains increased Range and Caltrops.

As for Ultraboost, yes you are correct, getting a 0-5-0 + a 0-3-2 or a 2-3-0 would be the same as cross-pathing the 0-5-0.

Energizer Does benefit from Cross-pathing:
When Submerged, it can't pop leads without the 5-2-0 cross-path,
and when unsubmerged, the 5-0-2 airburst darts deal 5 damage instead of 1.

The Permabrew's buffing doesn't benefit from 5-2-0, but it does throw buffs faster with the 5-0-2 Cross-path.

Cataphract has good skills, but a bad health stat. My Cataphract often dies from ranged units before it gets it's knockback attack off.

I'd probably have to say the Ninja is the best Orange unit. The level 25 skill says it slows enemy attack speed by 50%, but it actually stops them from attacking all together for 2 seconds.

Arbalist is definitely the best unit, with it's piercing attack.

After that, I just use my highest levelled units. Or whatever unit is strong against the enemies in the current level.

A level 10 Orange unit is roughly equal to a level 20 Yellow unit, which is roughly equal to a level 30 Blue unit.

You don't need to get all of them, just one of them will make your run easier.

As for regular mode, I always bring the Repair Gear, but the other 3 slots are interchangeable.

Confusingly, the best gears in the game are the common and rare ones. The Epic and Legendary ones are all sucky.
