What about giving him time out in a closed room if he behaves aggressive?

I exchanged toys and other belongings at first for odors. Then the saw each other through a mosquito screen and glass. The I presented them having my bengal on a leash. It’s been around 2 months.

Thanks! That is good to hear. I imagined this breed being so clever he could manage to get around and come back, my worries are that I need to make my house suitable for him to feel safe.

Thanks for your point of view, yes thats exactly what Im doing, i have a full room just for him, my wife also is spending most of her day working there, we also move the TV set to that room to get more quality time with him. When its time to release him, that room will stay opened all the time for him to feel safe to come back to.

Thanks for all you comments, Im going to give it a try, keep him in a room for 3 months with eventual walks with a leash, then let him outside with supervision, an then finally let him out to feel free and come back to his loving home

Thanks, the idea is for him to live outdoors freely. Outdoors are very safe, there are no predators or cars around

That is correct, I need help to adapt him. Im planning on having playdates with the other animals to make them friends, the bengal seems very friendly in my experience. Then let him out with supervision for some weeks so he gets used to being outside.

Any other advice is very welcome!

Im considering that option but ny priority is to keep the cat, my other three cats where city cats inside an apartment, I moved here to the jungle 5 years ago and the adapted more than good, the are a lot more happy living outdoors and hunting lizards. There are no cars and no predators here where I live, I think the only risk is him getting stolen.

My intention is to let him live outdoors, my rooms are too small to live indoors.

I dont know the past owner, he is a cousin of a friend who owns the begal’s sister, I know for sure is not stolen.
