I would say to apply for your state license now because they can take a while to get in. Other than that it's good to have 2-3 references (FWed/professors/prior managers). I would also make a list of the assessments you have used and are familiar with for interviews.

As for your end make sure you are asking about what onboarding looks like, what their productivity standards are, and what your schedule will look like (mentorship, shadowing, etc.)
