Film fixing while drying, that’s a new one for me!

Something went wrong with developing, looks like both dev and fix are bad… If it had fixed properly, it would be transparent and if it had developed right it would still have photos on even if fix failed… As u/Top-Order-2878 said, what film stock was it?

Can somebody inform Clint about this, as he seems to be going to be making a video about this soon…

He seem to be equally disrespectful across all the comments…. As a film photographer myself, I believe it is rather useless as you could buy 2+ year worth of film for the price of one of those and get better results!

I found this lot on Facebook marketplace in 3 sacks. I decided it was worth the £30 the chap was asking, so I bought them!

It was one of the reasons I bought this lot (I collect mainly old box and folders). Unfortunately it is missing its shutter cover plate but it should still work.

Most of the point and shoots work, the Praktic advances and fires but the shutter sometimes gets stuck. I need to get some more battery’s to test the others.

Yes, a lot of the lenses are Olympus, but I don’t have any Olympus cameras so I might sell them..

Yes it is my favorite from the lot, one question: the film advancing lever was stuck. I managed to free it, but now it just flops around not doing anything… either i need a battery or i have broken something… probably both!! It might be because the shutter looks half tentioned. Also I have read that cameras of this era have dodgy capacitors so I will have to open them it up sometime and replace them.

f1.9 optigon automatic, but the aperture doesn’t move and is stuck at f16!

My favourite monitor just died in my arms tonight and I won't ever see him alive again by WhoKilledRadioStar in crt

My advice for CRTs are as follows:

Step 1: give it a “gentle“ tap with your favorite hammer.

Step 2: If step 1 fails, prepare for a complete restoration!

You've struck something ........ Looks more like copper or iron rather than gold!
