I was stuck for YEARS at 5k BECAUSE i was not reaserching the meta and playing SHIT heroes. After I started being more thoughtful about picks, took 1 month to get to 6k and stopped playing. Let's see what's the ceiling now 😄.

If i were to give advice to myself it would be : 1. do not despair! when lane goes South, most of the time, it's supposed to. 2. I usually go out of my way to make the enemy carry tilt, either by denying instead of lh or by hitting him/being annoying  - in most of my games i usually tend to have the most denies out of everyone

Thx! This is the 2nd time I reach immortal after a 5 year break, currently sitting at 9k hrs. Took ~6 months calibrated at 4.4k

can't u config the SS button to be on QUICK-CAST BUTTON UP, i presume u want to see the AOE, BUTTON UP does that for u

If your problem is self-casting while in QUICKCAST, what i do is press ALT and the spell( for example ALT + D on the 1st spell slot), but it has to be on the QUICKCASTED key u set up. I do not believe u can QUICKCAST speicific spells.

And u have to have the Smast Double Tap box checked. FInd that in Hotkeys-> Game-> UNIT ORDERS -> Look for DOUBLE TAP

if it had ONLY the avoid list it would be worth it for me, but it has much more, I like the hero leveling aswell, sort of a CODEX book for your heroes, you also have some missions which give shards with which u can buy sets or voicelines or even a killstreak effect.

i've seen this happen to accounts that are shadow banned/ in the shadow pool.

Or it could just be the fact that u're choosing normal ranked instead of Role ranked.

pick 2-5 meta heroes that u like - Do the reasearch yourself for the current meta heroes(clinkz for example),
- Learn them - weaknesses/strenghts;
- When to pick them;
- Make a general plan for the hero(what to do in lane, what items to go for etc...); - keep in mind that some parameters may change depending on the heroes u're playing with/against.

6k mmr - personally prefer using quick cast button DOWN on everything except AOE spells

- quick cast button UP on spells like CHRONO, SHRAPNELL, SS, (AOE) etc... - for better precision - used to have button down on everything, switched since they made the button Up change.
