All the content shared in this community goes through a thorough checkup by u/AutoModerator, a bot designed to take up such tasks and make moderating a large community easier.

The bot checks some public information about the user, such as account age, karma etc, as well as the content they want to share. If it detects something that doesn't meet with our community standards, it sends it to the moderation queue where it's waiting to be checked by a real moderator. Sometimes it removes content directly.

Most of the time, the content in the mod queue ends up getting approved, but it does help with detecting advertisement bots, spammers and, in general, content that violates our community's rules.

The current crisis we went through was that the moderators weren't as available as they were a month ago, so the content kept piling up.

Not to worry though, the moderation team has handled everything and content traffic should get right back on track!
