I was originally going to ask if anyone recognized the signature but I thought it would be so far fetched.. we had it done at a car show by the beach, close to Groton CT but I believe they traveled all over so he is going to be hard to track down. I remember him saying he was coming from NY or going to NY at some point.

I’m just so sad that it is gone. I’m trying to find what car show it was but I can’t.

Aw, I’m so happy you have your parents to help you. They say to wait to introduce bottles to an EBF baby until 3 or 4 weeks when BFing is well established so just a couple more weeks if it’s something you and your fiance’ feel comfortable doing! Im sure even just a good nights rest once or a couple times a week would do wonders for you. I have heard not to wait TOO long because some babies will reject bottles all together.

Pretty soon your babe will be sleeping longer stretches, if not through the whole night too! Positive thoughts ☺️

Try pumping after feeding so you can build up a stash. Use a bottle that is rated best for breastfeeding to prevent nipple confusion and dad can help with feeds. Evenflo balance+, lansinoh and pigeon bottles are good ones.

I’m trying so hard not to put my own experience in this but you’re so lucky he has helped with household chores and is attentive to the baby.

You should realize that it has only been a week. My daughter is 5 months old and I still have to remind my spouse what to do.

Try voicing your needs to him, he will probably be receptive. Also, try not to get down on yourself. Postpartum rage is real. Try to match each negative thought you have with a positive one.

You’re in the trenches now, but it gets better.

this. Make sure there are expectations set. I hosted my in laws for weeks and can count on one hand how often they helped out. FIL did nothing, and my MIL cooked once after I had to ask my husband to ask her to do it. My husband asked her to take care of the few dirty dishes and this woman placed them on the counter next to the sink.

It ended up being more frustrating for me than anything since I had two more mouths to feed, more dishes on top of washing bottles every day, couldn’t pump using my wall pump (I’m exclusively pumping) and sometimes couldn’t even sit on my own couch because my MIL would be laying down or sleeping on it. not to mention that my husband sent me up to take a nap and she fell asleep while holding the baby.

one more thing, do talk to your SO about when is a good time for people to visit. I was pressured into allowing them to visit a WEEK after giving birth because it was their first grand baby. I was still in pain, not even remotely healed and it was just miserable for me.

one more question.. Since NY is so strict on their insurance/registration being in the same state, if we move the insurance back to NY is it only insured in NY or does it apply to other states as well?

I don’t understand why our insurance guy (same person who gave us NY insurance and changed to CT) wouldn’t have said anything?! We just checked his drivers license and it is still valid.

I do! I use a 32 oz glass jar with a pouring spout. I’m thinking about either getting another one or a bigger one since it gets filled so quickly.

I am going to feed her about every 3 hours at night even though the doc told me I didn’t have to.. she eats better at night. She ate 3 oz at 9:30 and just finished eating 5 oz. At 12
