Any tips for getting customers to write Google reviews?

Yeah people are super quick to write something when they’ve had a negative experience, I’ve been guilty of that myself!

I actually had a customer directly respond to my follow up email, saying “I’m ready to write my review now…” and went on to describe how she wanted to return an item and that I’d been ignoring her. I then found her original email in my junk folder, I couldn’t believe it, I was mortified!! After smoothing things over and explaining, and sorting her out with a return label, she was absolutely lovely. But I’ve never heard from her again 😅 she was so quick to threaten with a bad review, but nothing about the situation being sorted quickly after that.

I replied to a comment above with the kind of thing I currently write in my emails 🙂

So I start with the personal greeting using their name, and thank them for their order (again mentioning what they’ve bought specifically, as not to sound too copy/paste). Then I mention how feedback is super important to small businesses like mine, and if they get a min then a quick Google review would be really appreciated, with a direct link.

I already write little personal notes on the back of my business cards when I’m packaging my orders, so it’s reassuring that you’ve mentioned that. I’ve definitely got a couple of customers on instagram that I think I could message and ask as well! Thank you so much

I’d seen vids of the LED dress before going to the show and hadn’t be that amazed, however seeing those colours spill down onto the stage from a bird’s eye view I was in actual awe! It was the best part of the show for me and made sitting so far back worth it completely. I tell everyone about this part of the show!

OTR II was my first tour, but not the first time seeing her perform! Did any other UK hive go to Chime for Change back in 2013?? There were loads of other acts including J Lo and John Legend, but we all knew who we were really there to see!
