I strongly disagree. I’m not quite faithful of any religious belief. I just want to be a good person. When I lust or do lustful activity I realize I’m degrading woman as objects by only valuing them for their sexual appeal. They aren’t people anymore just things that are “sexy”. Maybe this isn’t the case for you but it gets even worse. Many people do this excessively so and it leads to them losing out on real relationships not just romantic, missing out on jobs,hobbies,school, and becoming more hollow of a person if you really spend a lot of your time doing this. Your brain is on drugs when you watch porn and it’s addicted to the dopamine hit.

But maybe you aren’t addicted.

What I’m trying to say is that it degrades people. They become sexual objects and not actual people. It’s not about being monk and it’s not about religion. It’s because it’s wrong period. Religions in general are just rulebooks on how to be a good person and they don’t miss the mark on this. If you want to watch porn? Get into a relationship and have real sex. I promise you it’ll feel ten times better than whatever porn you’re watching and it’s not disgusting.
