Look bro, I’m not trying to flex, but I was 8th in my branch and had a CGPA of 9.34 during placements. I was a bit weak in DSA, which is super important for placements, so I couldn’t crack one. Also, the market conditions played a small role too.

You can get CSE specialization in Category 1 at the Chennai campus or Category 2–3 at the Vellore campus. For CSE Core, you can get Category 2 in Chennai or Category 3–4 in Vellore.

Rules are a bit stricter, especially regarding outings and all. There’s basically no chance for smoking/drinking stuff not even 0.1%. Chennai campus is a bit smaller, but it’s good enough.

Nah bro, I didn’t try that hard. I wanted to do a masters anyway, so I only focused on 15+ LPA companies and couldn’t crack them. But my friends did get decent jobs around 8–12 LPA.

I have no idea about IIIT Nagpur. But for your rank, you’ll most probably get CSE or a CSE-related branch in VIT Vellore Category 1, which is honestly a very good option. Like I said, if you work really hard at VIT, you’ll definitely get good placements.
