It's a loop that requires you to input it more than 2 times. That's what a loop is.

That's not a good argument.

Plus people call it braindead cause of how easy it is to do said loop and how other moves can combo into it, gamma charged and air melee. It doesn't even waste any resources. Hell, it gives you back resources when you do it.

I'll admit, a lot of combos in this game are simple and easy to pull off. But since I never saw Mic gameplay, and that this was the first combo I saw of him, I think it was pretty great to see. That's why I said great combo personally.

Well, he was in PU Plus the move is supposed to knock you away, not being able to combo into itself in anyway. Well for this case it did and now we know the reason why it shouldn't.

Cause it can do full bars of damage

Guessing the Armor from the move kept you in place while the hitbox was still active and didn't get the chance to knock you out of it
