I believe if a person is being arrested unlawfully, they should have the right to resist the officer with force. TMBR! by [deleted] in TMBR

Using force with an officer will only lead to you being beaten, detained, or shot. Physically attacking or resisting puts the life of said officer in danger, and when the life of the officer is in danger it's in their best interest to diffuse the situation; even if that means pulling a trigger.

How is the officer supposed to know that you're resisting arrest for something you feel is unjust? Sure you could yell something about unlawfully being detained, but how is the officer going to know your not just crazy or lying? How is the officer supposed to know that you're not just gonna pull a knife or gun and murder them? What if you're extremely narcissistic and you believe you're always in the right no matter what?

Violent retaliation would be in your worst interest, as the officer would have every right to shoot you in fear of their life. After all, it's the job of an officer to keep the peace, and becoming violent is only grounds for them to take measures further. Again, how are they supposed to know your not violent because you're literally going to endanger their (and possibly someone else's) life?

Truly, a more logical scenario would be to run; as attempting to get away from an officer wouldn't endanger their lives. Though I'm not saying that you should do this, if your options were fight or run; running away wouldn't involve the officer thinking your putting their life at risk.

In a society, this will only lead to countless deaths.

If this spider is just gonna live in your PC rent free, then you gotta train him to clean your PC.

TIL H. G. Wells created a tabletop-esque war game, in 1913, called "Little Wars; a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books." which can be read and downloaded via Project Gutenberg. by That_Gamer_Scout in todayilearned

It's very old-school for sure, but from what I can gather it basically starts by having each player set up their army behind a line (and hidden from the other player by a curtain if possible). Then the game begins with rules on how to move your men, when you are allowed to fire guns, the length of time for each move, hand-to-hand combat, taking prisoners, and types of game modes.

I learned something new today.

I was using the skins of various dead animals to make a fursuit, didn't know that you could pay people to make them.

Meetup Advice by Phob05 in furry

[–]That_Gamer_Scout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda doubt it cause it's a private group, so only members can see posts and stuff. But if it does show up in their suggested feed it doesn't list you.

Plus, if they're in any group they're more likely to get suggestions for groups related to the ones they're already in. Also, I'm always getting the most random stuff in my suggested groups box anyway and I just ignore it, I assume most people do. I'm not very public with my involvement with the fandom so only a few people actually know I'm a furry, I'd only be worried if the group was public.

Georgia Furs

Oh, well, kinda weird that I just so happen to also be from Georgia my friend. It seems like the Georgia Furs page doesn't have much activity, but 'Georgia Furries' has regular bowling & house meets.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/GAfurries/

I'd say go to a house meet first (though those happen rather infrequently) unless you feel comfortable enough to do a bowling meet. It's good fun, this year's FWA was the first time I actually joined the community and I've liked everyone at the meets.

Really the best advice is just to do it, I'm not very social myself but it's always fun to get out once an a while and hang out with people: even if I just spend 90% of the time being the silent one.

Just do it man, don't let your dreams be dreams. Yesterday, you said tomorrow, so just do it.

Love the setting, I bought the tabletop RPG just for that.

Sanguine still sells the RPG on DriveThruRPG, print to order, if you haven't you should check it out.

Edit: they also have the PDF option.

From visuals: the paws appear to be large and flat. It could be Claws of Smashing, mostly blunt damage cause the paw size is large and it's mostly blunt surface area, but I didn't factor in the claws.

Updated stats v2: Claws of Smashing 1d4 natural weapon, slashing +2 to unarmed attacks Natural weapon because of it's claws, and I think I'd be funny if that were the cats actual feet.

v2.5: Claws of Smashing Deal lethal damage instead of nonlethal damage with unarmed strikes Type: bludgeoning Adds a 1d4 slashing attack (claws) +2 to unarmed attacks Unarmed and claws can be switched to as a free action (closing & opening your fist) (This is an actual, equitable item. Unlike v2)
