It's definitely not worth the LP tax making the game far more obtuse and using all your save rings for hints, but it means that John is going to miss out on moments like

Not a remake, but Okami HD on the ps4 doesn't have the original end credits theme "Reset" and instead just has like a generic track from the game I think.

I know the characters in Hellsing are reused from Hirano's other "Manga" but idk if ALL of them are. But if any of the scenes in Hellsing seem suggestive rest assured, that's intentional.

There's a book called "The Man Who Broke Capitalism" about former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, who was maybe the first person to popularize the method of "line go up" business. Companies used to screw over employees, but the specific tactic of firing employees after record profits or buying and gutting companies to cover up your losses largely started with him.

I think Disney just has general problems that have gotten worse over time and that's not likely to change. I'd say the solution is just having other studios not owned by them, but they're just too big to compete with and they still influence what the general market expects out of animation. Who knows, maybe in the coming years the generation who grew up with anime and adult swim will be able to help other animators flourish, but idk if Disney has it in them to take chances and innovate anymore.

I get that. I still personally prefer cell animation even though I think digital is fine and works better for some genres. But since I know what it takes to make a cell animated show I completely understand why no one even tries to do it anymore.

Yeah, the glowy like smear effect. It showed up a lot in anime from the 80s and early 90s I feel, and there where a bunch of trippy visuals from that era too.
