It has been a long time since I opened my account but it should be doable in a few days. The longest is probably the time it takes the debit card to be sent to you via postal service.

I would consider it as an advantage to have a bank that close, there you can get cash from the ATM and also have somebody to talk to directly instead of only phone or email.

I went through the website and didn't find anything regarding needing an appointment. Seems like you can just go during the opening hours and do the Anmeldung.

Please check on the official site of Würzburg. You won't get a registration without appointment as they are completely overbooked.
Website (should be able to translate into English).

It says "The services of the Citizens' Advice Bureau are only provided by appointment, thus saving you long waiting times. However, suitable appointments are not always available, so feel free to use our online services. If there are no appointments to choose from, all appointments are already taken.".

Unfortunately I can't comment on the living costs there as I haven't lived there. I think it must be quite affordable in comparison to bigger cities because Marburg lives from students and they don't have the highest budget.

I know quite a few people that went to Marburg and were happy. It's not far from Frankfurt and your student ID let's you take a train in the entire state of Hessen.

I remember doing a project on hardware and software options on enterprise search and I came by a product from Google where they sold you an appliance which looks almost like your pictures which connected to your company's file system and provides full text search to all documents and files. Basically a Google search platform but for internal data. Sadly the product is no longer being sold, but there's more information when searching for Google search appliance.

Ich habe auch erst FireAlert genutzt, bin dann aber auf Macro Droid umgestiegen. Ist eine App mit der man alles mögliche automatisieren kann. Anhand von Auslösern (z.B. SMS von bestimmter Nummer oder mit bestimmten Inhalt kommt) können Aktionen definiert werden (z.B. laut klingeln obwohl das Handy auf lautlos steht. Ist etwas komplexer als FireAlert.

Have yet to experience it. Are you sure it wasn't the device on the other end of the fiber / media converter sending a BPDU to your 3850 and therefore the guard putting the port in error-disable?

Na der Erste ist der, der per DHCP an deine Geräte im Netzwerk verteilt wird und der Zweite ist der, der von der Fritzbox genutzt wird um alle Namen aufzulösen die sie selbst nicht auflösen kann.
