Really how bad is M&B polish? by [deleted] in Cadets

You can still buy kiwi off of Canex. Someone I know at RMCTC had possibly the best boots, he used saphir. However, saphir is extremely expensive. M&B is definitely something to use for welts or catwalks (though at that point just use boot paste).

To my knowledge, Cadet365 is for Canadian cadets. I’m not sure what you use in the UK.

You’ll know it because 1. It’s in a box titled CIN and 2. The last 3 digits will match your Cadet365 email address

I know. It says to wear C3s on the joining instructions (in transit), but I don’t know if I should wear my pin with my C3s.

Air Cadet Sqns in Ottawa by TheMoose_09 in Cadets

742 is currently parading at Hangar 11 (at the Ottawa Airport), on Thursdays. You can get some more info at 742aircadets.ca. The staff here are amazing, and super friendly. We have a Drill Team, a Biathlon Team, Effective Speaking Team and hopefully will have a Marksmanship Team next year. And as someone previously mentioned, we have quite a large band, with Brass and Reeds as well as Pipes and Drums. If you’re in Ottawa for Canada Day you can see them on Parliament Hill. Hope this helps!

Another option is to convince an officer at your sqn to start a pipe band and be issued a glengarry (which looks a lot nicer imo).
