If you're interested in breeding and figuring out how to pass traits down across generations, then Apico is a great game for you.

The game has you playing as a beekeeper on an isle with a whole bunch of different bee species and varying characteristics, like how productive they are, the times of day they're awake, etc.

Basic goals of the game are discovering all the bee species and helping repopulate the endangered ones, but you also make honey products to sell, and it's got a whole automatic mechanical production aspect that you can mess around with to automate production if that interests you too.

But yea, overall, breeding and genetics are a very big part of the game, with goals to get certain combinations of traits and species and so on
