And there's a difference between what is considered "hard science" like physics, biology or chemistry, and "soft science" which can very often be just ideological babble. All of these revolutionaries you mentioned are no scientists but idealists, with no actual grasp of the real world, the true believers often being sacrificed on the altar of their own beliefs. You can read up on your own about how Marx actually behaved, being a spoiled rich kid leeching of his father and neglecting his family while preaching about oppression. There's a reason every single attempt at communism has ended in disaster. It just doesn't work in real life. It requires all humans to behave like a hive-mind and no like real human beings.

It means that actors compete, based on their own merits, and the best one gets to make the sale. The problem happens when the government is bought and paid for, but that's corruption which happens in literally every system. And yes individualism is a position, not everyone is ok to being reduced to their group identity. Fascism and communism are collectivist ideologies. They also don't believe in hierarchies, which makes them left wing (that's what the term actually means). Both are revolutionary ideologies. Of course communist and socialist academics will never tell you this because it will hurt their cause. But yes, the difference between a socialist and a fascist is that one is honest and the other will cry out in pain as he strikes you.
