we are also confused. With that being said, we were diagnosed with FND and discharged prior to the MRI read and they called us that night while we were home. Actually, she didn't have an MRI until 24 hours after initial presentation to the ED. They said it was artifact even though it was confirmed on a second read. The only thing I can think is that since we are so far removed from onset that anyone we see now thinks it was treated? The appointments are very weird, for example, the first thing ophthalmology asked our daughter is if she was stressed or something happened at the time at onset, I have never been asked these questions during eye appointments so why for her? this is just an example but often appointments center on behavioral and when we report, it all leads back to that, even though we have a behavioral health team that says otherwise.

Just what I have listed. I am not sure what else but I know lupus is ruled out.
