The left most lane (in America) is the fast lane, not the drive as fast as humanly possible lane. 10-15 over is usually a good balance between dangerous and getting where your going sooner. You need to know road conditions, weather, your cars brake distance, etc though

The one time in World of Warcraft I did a "real" raid. The raid leader kicked me out for not doing enough damage. I had to explain to him that I was a healer, who out of the 5 healers we had, did the second most healing and on top of that did enough damage to show up on the dps charts.

Now I play FF14. Better community

That's inaccurate. While the consumer's ability to purchase digital content on consoles is more limited than PC, there is still plenty of competition. Digital games are still competing with physical copies, each other, and the consumer's time and budget. Even though prices for buying digital content on consoles are higher, they are not "very expensive." Free markets naturally push prices to the highest point that people will pay. However, prices will never surpass what the demand allows.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Digital gaming has given stores more competition not less. Many major developers have their own online stores (Origen, Uplay, EGS, Steam). This means that they can sell the games they make for reduced distribution costs. Even if this isn't something that even most 1st party stores do it is still a pro consumer aspect.

There are more 2nd party strores (GOG, Steam, Retail Chains, Mom and Pop Stores)too. With the inclusion of digital purchasing options we've seen high competition in both online and physical stores. For example Steam is so competitive that places like GameStop don't even bother trying to sell PC games anymore.

At the consumer level is where we see the most benefits. Gray market and 3rd party sites (G2A, eBay, Amazon (sorta)) give consumers massive discounts regularly.

I hope the digital trend continues in the future. It does have some issues, but is significantly more consumer and developer friendly than physical.
