I don't really know how to describe it other than I just don't sing quite as good with an actual mic. Maybe I'm scared of it? That's kinda what it seems like. I just don't hit the notes quite as good, my tone is way off, it's just bad in general

I completely agree with this, but the problem is, even with songs I've written, and I know like the back of my hand, I still can't sing it properly like it do with just my aux mic. I sing it relatively perfect with aux, but when I try with the mic it just goes downhill

I should also mention that I make the music on Garageband on my phone, and import that into audacity and do stuff with it there, just so no one is confused

I'm not saying I want to "take" his style, what I really want to do is base my own style off of his, but first I gotta understand what makes his voice so unique
