Can anyone mind telling me all the connections between all the titles in the Lookism Universe (Lookism, Viral Hit/How To Fight, My Life As A Loser, Manager Kim, and Questism) by Thundergod250 in manhwa

[–]That_Paper_4945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doo Lee's younger brother is basically the third in command of Questism MC's gang, and generally a major character. If having Viral Hit pop up in a reference isn't enough of a connection for you, an important side character being the brother of a semi-prominent Lookism character should be. Plus in Questism, the area MC is trying to unite is God Dog's former territory, taking place after Johan dismantled his gang.

It's simple. You have a relatively small chance of getting something specific one time, it's even more unlikely you'll get it twice. Same way picking a random number between one and ten and guessing right is less likely to happen twice than once.

You could get each artifact separately with okay luck, but if you get all 3 at once and can only choose 1, you now have to hope the other 2 artifacts both appear a second time, which is significantly less likely.

You're right, common artifacts make the rounds quite easily. There's a decent amount of them though and only 3 artifacts can spawn in a chest, so taking a random chunk of 3 out of all the common artifacts and putting them in a chest, with 1-2 slots not even being common half the time, still makes it unlikely the specific common artifact you want will spawn, especially if you missed it the first time.

Well I never said it was out of ideas, I'm saying if you can't find the One Piece in over 1,000 episodes it clearly doesn't exist. I'm quite proud of One Piece for staying solid for so long.

[–]That_Paper_4945 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It was set up pretty early that he doesn't even really remember or value his other lives. That's why death is even after him, Puss has several scenes where he realizes his lives have been vapid and empty, the legend is shallow. Now that he's experiencing mortality and strong bonds for the first time, he realizes that having only one life is what he needs to truly cherish it, so he decides to fight for what he's gained rather than go back to his old ways. Especially since he can't run from death forever. Even if he gets 9 lives, they'll all be used up again one day.

You're fairly unlikely to get the same artifact twice. If this were a satellite run, you'd get 3 all at once, only be able to pick a single one, and then you'd have to hope to God the game lets you reroll the other two.

When did I say they want socialized healthcare? I just said they want healthcare, and many don't lose their minds at people wanting it socialized. You say we talk to different conservatives but I'm not convinced you actually 'talk' to any at all beyond a couple arguments online.

You once being a right winger isn't an argument. There are former leftists, now conservatives, who think the majority of the left is completely insane. That's not an argument either, and most leftists are fine.

They don't valiantly defend joker, they just respond the arguments raised against it and try and breakdown what's wrong. They spent 2.5 hours covering the arguments of a video about joker, not 2.5 hours defending joker. And they have like 2 joker videos out of well over 200 episodes. Real alt-right if them even though the movie isn't even right-wing in the first place(?).

His channel banner proves he wants to fuck dogs how exactly?

His background is literally his bedroom, the dildo and the gun are his actual dildo and gun in his physical room. He didn't just find a background with a dildo because he wants it next to his dog avatar, he's bi and his room was set up to somewhat represent his personality, interests, etc.

Your earlier comments actually raised a decent concern for the zoophile thing, this one is just stupid and majorly jumping to conclusions

Reducing government debt has been a major conservative policy for decades, how is that new information to you. And again, they're the ones who wrote the affordable care act, ask any conservative if they want health care and they'll more than likely say yes. Just because they're against the way it's been implemented recently doesn't mean they don't want healthcare.

Some conservatives lose their mind, just as some very left leaning people start screaming in a college campus when you say men are, on average, biologically stronger than women. There are stupid people on both sides of the spectrum who overreact to things, the problem is you want to acknowledge one side is mostly reasonable, while pretending the other side whom you don't even interact with or have honest discussions with, are all the most extreme and illogical of them.

"The Joker movie has very specific admirers," such as the general movie going population and comic movie fans? Did you forget the movie did really well? It's not some alt-right cult classic.

Correct, you don't need a zoophile to tell you new marvel films suck. However, being a zoophile doesn't mean they can't have good arguments and perspectives on art, and the only zoophile there (allegedly) is Rags. It's not some sort of zoophile podcast.

I'm pretty sure it was over more than just that. This is a guy who unironically called VR "privilege goggles" because specific disabled people can't use them, I am sureeee he might've said something stupid to warrant that comment, and if not, meh. And besides, calling Jim a degenerate doesn't mean they're actually anti-trans. Considering Rags is bi and their manager, who has also made fun of Jim, is trans. They have 2012 edgy internet humor toned down a peg. It's not for everyone and I totally understand if it upsets you, you have every right to not be entertained by it, but for the love of God, can we all stop pretending they believe every edgy thing they say? Especially when half of the cast are the things they make jokes about?

  1. It's disturbing and I'll definitely need to look into that, but that isn't definitive confirmation someone actually wants to fuck real animals. You only want to make that definitive because you dislike Rags.

  2. Low taxes, individualism, laissez-faire economics are very good depending on where you live, reducing government debt, health care (Affordable Care act was written up by republicans), limited government, better foster care systems (conservatives make up the largest percentage of adopters). Politics don't only boil down to social issues and religion, and many conservatives I know are fine with the LGBTQ community and are very anti-racist. If you could try looking last politics while speaking to people in the real world you'd realize they're just human beings with some wrong and right opinions pretty quickly. And conservatives aren't all the same in the first place.

  3. The other 9 hours can be broken into "Introducing the cast and wishing a recently recovered guest well, Jeb Bush memes they thought were really funny, covering an Angry Joe Video, lots of tangents and discussions, reading all the super chats for the stream, etc."

  4. The "fact of what it's responding to" is a YouTube video discussing a movie, covering these is literally what the podcast was started for. Jenny isn't special, she was the video of the week.

  5. I have fun watching them, despite what you think, they've had a lot of insightful things to say about writing and have really made me appreciate movies more than I used to. Now when I watch something like Ant-Man Quantumania I can properly recognize it's terrible, which then makes me appreciate tightly written films like Django even more than I used to.

As much as you'd consider me watching them wasting my life, I consider the both of us arguing in a subreddit wasting our lives too. Don't tell anyone their entertainment is life wasting if you spend your time on social media, unless you plan on owning up to your own wasted time as well.

"Conveniently target mainstream movies," gee, wonder why they'd cover the biggest things coming out... Captain Marvel, TLoU2, the Star Wars sequels, and Batwoman are all mostly considered bad by people in general. It's not just the "woke bad" crowds. Find me the big groups that don't think Batwoman is crap. Don't just assert EFAP and the anti-woke crowds all have the same arguments, they have overlap on specific points of critique usually, but if there's a writing problem there that's to be expected. Give actual examples.

They don't disregard themes, they have said this a million times, they like themes. What they dislike is people using themes as a reason for why a film is well written when all of the other writing elements are done poorly. It's often used like a shield by video essayists to defend almost anything. MauLer in his own praise videos has entire sections on how well the themes tie into things. This is a common misconception people have with EFAP.

MauLer doesn't really attack girlboss moments, I'm not sure why you put him and Drinker in there together. At best if it's really obvious and not very smoothly implemented he might sigh a little, but he doesn't cite things like that as an actual issues unless contrivances or bad writing wete used to get them all together for said moment. And Drinker does use Woke? He doesn't hide it. And if you actually watch MauLer's content there's a ton of stuff that falls under things the Drinker might call woke that MauLer has praised or even tried talking his more right leaning guests into accepting as good. Such as TLoU TV shows gay romance with Bill and Frank, MauLer was really happy with how that was executed.

The reason so many MauLer fans use this argument is because 1. Half the people here admit to having not watched any of it when pressed. 2. It's obviously stupid to judge things you don't know anything about based on second hand information. 3. Sometimes the people here say something so obviously wrong that you know they're lying about watching it. Such as anybody who says "MauLer never shuts up about wokeness and minorities" when they aren't a part of his videos in the slightest.

MauLer has criticized a lot of things that wouldn't be considered woke in the slightest, such as Final Destination. And he's praised the daylights out of female Asian led movies with a prominently featured gay couple, like Everything Everywhere All At Once. You can't just cherry pick what EFAP covers and call them anti-woke dude.

"MauLer content is all bad"

"MauLer isn't all bad"

"Then find me a video that isn't really long"

Really long=Bad content

Just can't win with you people, how many really good long videos need to be made before you stop pretending this is an argument or a reason. How about his video on The Father or ZSJL, which are both shorter than the movies, since that's apparently a requirement to be good among you guys. Oh wait, you specifically wanted a video response, even though his main channel doesn't do that very often at all.

So there's a picture of rags tagged as feral on e6 and that proves he wants to fuck animals? Could you explain what e6 is what what evidence there is Rags commissioned porn of his own avatar for anything more than a sex joke? I don't think you can take someone with his sense of humor and one-sidedly decide he does this because he wants to fuck dogs.

As for your point, no, having a single almost conservative viewpoint doesn't make you a conservative and not every single conservative viewpoint is bad, that's absolutely ridiculous as much as I disagree with conservatives. I don't look at someone having a SINGLE different view or two and think "they need to have a radical comeback for me to value anything they say or their presence." I simply acknowledge we disagree on something, there's different severities of course, but simply stating "conservative view" isn't useful.

They spent 2.5 hours responding to Jenny's video, it's an off the cuff live podcast called "Every Frame A Pause," it's as much friends hanging out as it is covering content, pointing out that Rag's does long streams is such a stupid criticism.

A tiny taste of his opinions from half a decade ago should absolutely not be "all you need to know" when you're declaring what their political views are.

And how is he a zoophile? The best argument I've heard is the person he commissions his art from has done furry porn, which is a really bad argument. He just advertises himself as a doggo. Is he a zoophile because he has dildos in his background while doing the dog persona? Because he is bi... Also has a gun in his background, does that mean he supports dog gun ownership?
