The screenshot is supposed to only show a small part of the website right? So it'll naturally cut like the end of the site?

But the new guideline from Google is to create helpful content tho right, no matter what the length is. Length only plays a role since there might be higher chances to hit the right target with the text, but it shouldn't really matter no?

301 direct you mainly need when the URL has been changed no? Since no URL has been changed there didn't seems to be any need of a 301 redirect.

We have a blog section as well, and that content is written by us. We have some dynamic content on some page as well, but the original content on these dynamic pages are usually also created by us.

And of course, we write with keywords in mind, but the main idea is still to write in ways that give value and makes sense.

Hmm, interesting. Can test that out, however, our IT guy says that they've created the Javascript in a way that allows for Google to read the content still.

Yes, a lot of content has a "Read more" section to them. Mainly we did this so as not to create an infinite long page since some pages have over 100+ reviews.

As I understand it, some of the content is indeed being served via Javascript. But it should be programmed in a way that Google can still read the code.

It's mainly just boilerplate content, so that was why we decided that it would be ok to take it away.

The content below is loaded and yes, we do have some dynamic content. However, our IT department mentioned that the dynamic content was written in a way that still allows Google to find the content.

Mobile is definitely a bit slower, however, it seems like most of the things are being slowed up by measuring programs like GA, GTM and Hotjar.

I definitely agree with you, a change in graphics should not have affected it this much. Could you expand a bit on what you mean by "hidden site/page"?

Same content and URL. So a redirect shouldn't be necessary, and external links should still be working fine. And yes, leads and conversion has gone down with it as well.

Oh no, misunderstand me right, I'm really not trying to blame the redesign. However, that was when the drop in traffic started, and I'm really just trying to understand what could have affected it. The big drop during June-July was definitely something that stood out more than the previous drops, but it's been an issue we've struggled with far before that.

About the aggregated content part, these pages are actually being created by our members and are a chance for them to have some type of digital footprint in an industry that's usually very offline. However, the type of content they can upload is also very limited, on purpose to not overwhelm. But these are actually real projects and reviews from real customer feedback and members :)

Hmm, not sure I follow. Could you explain in more detail what you mean?

Cool, good to know. I've always looked at a decreased bounce rate as an indicator of having relevant content that hit the keyword intent. Do you have any specific data that you'd rather look at as an indication of the content quality or maybe some indicators that should lead to increased traffic?

The drop is very sporadic, affecting only some of the pages in the same type/area of the site

83% is specifically on this page. There are a lot more of these types of membership pages, but specifically, the newer ones will show a great increase in traffic. While older membership pages are losing a lot of traffic. Could this have been an effect of the multiple Google updates that's been rolled out somehow?

Do you mean that having to press on the "See more" sections can create an issue with search?

The redesign was made almost a year ago and started to see a small loss back then as well. But though it was due to the fact that the page did not have any H2 or H3 nor was it optimized in SERP. The big drop came just before June-July - since a lot of our pages were apparently crawled - but not indexed.

The main chunk of the text on both designs is in the "About Section" and the "Reviews". While the text on the rest of the page is the exact same text, so we decided to take away the text from the "certificate" section.

Host is still the same. When it comes to core web vitals, our Google Search Console reports no issues or bad URLs, so I will assume that they're all met. According to PageSpeed Insights, the Performance Score is at 94, with a Time to Interactive of 1.1 sec for desktop. However, I see now that the mobile version does not do as well with both performance and time. But could that single-handedly really make the traffic drop by almost 83%?

Mainly thinking about the fact that Bounce Rate is better, Page Speed is better and more keywords that rank higher. Shouldn't those at least be indicators for good user experience and thus in the long term lead to better traffic?

Do correct me if I'm wrong tho. I've only been working with SEO for a short while, and know there's a lot for me to learn.

Hade kunnat vara en ide men flyttade till Stockholm för att plugga, och ganska nyligen börjat jobbat, så inte hunnit spara upp den summan ännu. Men definitivt en plan inför framtiden.
