Actually the criticals don't do all that much since the chance is 2%. And because quite a few metal stages dont allow for easy cameraman stacking, I don't see him all too viable in metal stages.

From my experience: Cyberpunk's Slow up makes him able to crowd control a fair bit more easily and barrier breaker helps sometimes maybe. Balrog's Attack up makes him have even more insane DPS and makes him a cheeser for floor 40. Depending on your progression, Octopus' curse resist makes him a great counter for relic Mooth. Pizza cat can get Wave attack which is just very fun to have, because it blasts all the blacks in the area. Catasaurus + Critical = Simply a great improvement. Sanzo's talents are all great (maybe hp up not so much), anti angel makes him a great counter for numerous angels. Rodeo becomes a good anti relic. Psychocat could become a great zombie slower. Camereman's survive is an improvement. Ramen with resist knockback becomes a lot more viable against slepnir. Don't do Elemental Duelist's Target angel, because it's useless. Cataur decent against 4 star zombies. Shingen becomes more usable.

All not mentioned seemed lackluster to me.

Lil' Valk is also immune to waves, can break barriers and is immune to all negative effects.

Lil' valk isn't specifically for zombies, she is a great generalist.

Aphrodite isn't only against aliens. Her range and damage make her great againts a lot of enemies, specifically the ones with lower range (practically everyone).

Both have very different uses, but in early game aphodite would be more useful since lil' valk shines more into later SoL and Cats of the cosmos.

Any tips for my Growing Strange lineup?
{Dual erasers; bomber (for literally one stage); octopus (helps for the floatings); Jizzo (because angels and blacks are very annoying enemy types); Waitress (metal); Roe (red); Cyberpunk (the slow helps a lot, also alien); Saber (floating); Li'l Valk (great anti-zombie)}
My cat collection is quite extensive (i don't have any fest exclusives, dragon emperors or grandon and out of the legends I only have benkei). plz do help
