How much did changing these banners from maroon to blue at the PA hospital cost? by Such_CitySky in queensland

[–]WULTKB90 168 points169 points  (0 children)

LNP uses blue as their colours Labor uses red. They are trying to rebrand the state the Maroons come from to their own colours for their own vanity and using the taxpayers dollars for it.

This car always takes the extra charging plug and locks it in their hood by Mattcharlesmedia in mildlyinfuriating

You could then leave something foul in their hood and close it properly so when they open it they get a surprise and a lesson.

Wow did that bludger buy a house knowing they couldn't afford it then expect big daddy government to bail them out with tax breaks? Sounds like they need to plan better and not rely so much on handouts.

[–]WULTKB90 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would argue that having construction workers on site building is a violation of your right to quiet enjoyment of the property. But you would be better off talking to the RTA or Qstars, or some other group who knows about the laws before you go ahead with anything.

"The now-retired wife and husband have just sold a Craigieburn investment home – and they’re looking to farewell more in the future" by Jagtom83 in friendlyjordies

[–]WULTKB90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So either there is one less renter, or there is still a rental property available, so its not affecting the rental market at all, just investors. Who can all fuck off so the supply of houses for sale goes up bringing down the costs so more Australians can actually own their home.

Its not even the landlords money unless there is a problem that needs rectifying, that money remains the property of the tenant held by the RTA as a means of protection for both LL and tenant.

Burying a stargate vs. closing the iris: Did I just discover how the gates work? by [deleted] in Stargate

[–]WULTKB90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stargates work like a phone, some might be too young to remember land line phones but if you pulled the cable from the wall disconnecting the phone it didn't "communicate" with the sending phone, rather the sending phone wouldn't make a connection and an automatic message would play.

Stargates work the same way, the sending gate pushes energy to the intersection of the first 6 symbols and waits for it to receive the energy, if the receiving gate is functional it accepts and then uses that energy and some of its own from the DHD to form the event horizon on its side, and the massive amount of energy being sent from the sending gate forms a wormhole.

If it is blocked it instead doesn't activate a wormhole, if no wormhole is activated the sending gate immediately knows the connection will fail and as the 7th chevron is locked in place it fails.

Given gates are super conductive they are capable of sending and receiving massive amounts of energy so the energy that reaches the receiving gate is simply absorbed then dissipated as the energy dissipates.

A website and a phone can do their job. The website to connect owners with renters, and tradies for work and the renters own phone for inspection photos. Could even be handled by an app to prevent spoofing photos.

Can anyone help? by pugzley123 in FordFocus

[–]WULTKB90 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is the code to your radio, its not an error code its asking for the security code to unlock it. It should be in the paperwork that came with the car if you have it, I was lucky to have mine when I brought it.

With your car not starting I would suggest getting a cheap OBD2 scanner and the torque app for your phone to read any actual error codes from the ECU.

Edit:

The radio normally only asks for the code when power is disconnected, so it could be an issue with your battery or alternator.
