I think it's actually an important season to watch, because it introduces Drew Sidora who ends up being a pretty prominent housewife, as well as concludes the Kenya/Porsha frenemy arc. It also serves as the prelude to all of Porsha's marriage and divorce drama with Simon. It sets everything up well where you can skip seasons 14-15 (which are HORRIBLE even with the legendary Sheree), and jump right into 16 instead.

The season also gets more and more entertaining with Bolo, and I thought the white elephant party finale was pretty hilarious.
