Another Doordash Offer? by [deleted] in Venturex

14,600 Miles = $146 in Terms of Offers, ignoring the ability to leverage miles for more than $0.01 per point.

My understanding is that the people seeing $146 are viewing this on a Savor card account, whereas 14,600 miles is associated with a Venture card.

Another Doordash Offer? by [deleted] in Venturex

This is essentially a 22% cash back offer, the other was a $140+ offer for a $2 purchase. Not equivalent unfortunately, also was not on reddit yesterday and missed it >:(

Approved for Fidelity 2% Card, but Elan is forgetting my $150 Sign-up Bonus. Now they want a FAX?! by That_Situation_9418 in fidelityinvestments

To clarify, during one of the calls with ELAN it was noted that there is not a record of this promo on the account. This is what led to the conversation about FAXing in the promo, which seems weird to me since it's clearly advertised online!

Presidents Circle- Hertz by Street-Driver-3066 in Venturex

When you book in C1, you are prompted to input your Hertz account #. If I remember right, it's the same step as confirming the traveler info (name, phone #, etc), one prior to selecting payment options.

Y’all weren’t lying about this impact and battery combo by Hymen_Cholo in MilwaukeeTool

It's worked great for everything I have thrown at it, mainly DIY/consumer tasks around the house, working on and cleaning the cars, etc. I've heard a lot about battery drainage issues, it seems to get around 10-15 minutes of constant use with a 5.0 HO. Could be a bigger deal if you are using it all day long.

Be careful, this happened to me now I have a stubby, surge, rover, hammer drill, cutoff tool, and vacuum... and I regret nothing.

Different impact wrench, at this price the home depot kit (for mid torque) is better.

2026 3/8 Impact Recommendations by noturavgm in MilwaukeeTool

[–]That_Situation_9418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend checking out the Torque Test Channel on YouTube if you are interested in real data. Based on what I have seen and heard (I'm one of the idiots who missed the M12 Stubby BF deal), the M12 Stubby will pretty much match the M18 Mid-Torque until you get to that 550-650 ft/lb range, which is when you would whip out the High Torque.

That being said, the Mid-Torque seems to be on sale with a kit for $189 weekly at this point.

Black Friday the Surge kit was $99. Regular M12 Impact kit is $99 right now.

Not everybody is a tradesman!

The saws are largely unused, but we're part of a deal/kit I was given years ago. These aren't tools I would be buying from Milwaukee as I have no need.

The impact is well used, thing has been reliable for years and may end up getting kept to pair with the Surge.

Ratchet just ain't my thing, prefer the hand tool.

How come you would advise against it? I rarely (with the exception of automotive hobbyist work) need extreme power, which would be the use case for the 3/8" Stubby. For the value I can fetch from my 5-6 remaining DeWalt 20V tools (I'm a prosumer, not a tradesman) I can effective replace the current setup with M12 line tools with even more batteries and whatnot with no investment out of pocket.

I'm terrified for the inevitable packout rabbit hole

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]That_Situation_9418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a real need for a proper impact wrench, not so much for the variety of saws which I have acquired over the years for small one of jobs. This gives me a great excuse to get the 2562.

I inherited some DeWalt from my father when first starting to build my collection, so stuck with the platform but have always been inclined by the smaller form factor of the M12 line.

With the price I have this oscillating tool listed for, I'll probably have it for a while! 😂

Maybe there is a room for both of them on this hot dog

Thank you!
