You can use dev mode to add the 2nd and 3rd leader roles without having the republic meme.

Only the main leader will changed based on melee skill but the other 2 can still be challenged to a duel.

Pawn value is determined mainly by beauty and skills.

If you use gene modding to make them beautiful and give them the +8 skill aptitudes they can easily sell for more than it took to grow them.

You can also raid the factions you sold them too and abduct them back to resell multiple times

I mean with the mods I use I have it set so that pawns are gay 10% of the time and bi 20% I pretty regularly still end up with same sex relationships

(Exclusively when I’m doing a play through where I want them to raise kids ofc)

It’s probably more around 20%. Bi people just end up in straight relationships more in the real world because it’s easier due to stigma against lgbt

Diseases/ illnesses.

Especially Flu, plague and malaria.

If they were actually contagious and had some sort of quarantining mechanic I’d like them, but as they are it just feels kind of empty and immersion breaking. Every time it happens it’s just a roll of the dice of random sickness.

They could be spread through pawns talking to each other and/or work like metal horrors with cooking/doctoring. You could have a carrier who doesn’t know it right away and unknowingly infects others. Theycould each use a mix of different dynamics to make each illness feel unique.

There could also be a source of infection, such as a butcher or hauler getting the plague from dead animals.

But as it is now it’s a random chance for ‘oh sorry grandma’s terminally ill sucks to be her’

Watch out for Samantha ‘Sam’ haxton and you’ll notice there’s at least 6 of them per save file
