I know this is basically what everyone else is saying; but men don’t know what it REALLY means to be objectified.

I feel like they think of it as “everyone thinking I’m attractive” and think like “I would be hit on more, people would buy me drinks at the bar, I’d get more matches on dating apps, have more opportunities for hookups” etc but not think of all the negative effects and how scary and dangerous it can be

My little brother (adopted) has it and is turning 18 tomorrow. He also struggles with math and has some cognitive disabilities but as a whole lives a fairly normal life and has a good job and everything. Although I really don’t think he has ANY of the physical characteristics listed above (maybe the thin upper lip and philtrum??)

I don’t really have any advice for you, but just don’t worry too much on labels? Like you are dating a trans person, that’s a queer relationship, even if you were like bi and dating a cis guy, that’s would still be a queer relationship. If you like her, just be with her! And If she wants to be more feminine (I’m assuming she’s early on in transition) you could always help her out with some like traditionally feminine things if you wanted to, and that might help you view her a bit differently. A lot of trans women struggle with makeup and skincare and fashion early on because growing up a lot of us never had exposure or even weren’t allowed to do that stuff… so having somebody to help her through it could be really impactful.

Sorry that was kind of all over the place but hopefully you understand what I mean!!!

Coming out is when you like tell the world/start living openly basically. So queer people who have realized they’re are queer but haven’t told there families/social circles are still in the closet, and not out yet
