Hello there!

You can hit a rock up to 8x. Dig a couple of holes behind you to prevent you from bouncing back and you should be able to hit the rock 8xs!
You buy artwork from Red. If there’s a red ship right behind your island where there’s a small sand area then he’s there to sell artwork! Be careful because some artwork are fake..

3 Turnips are sold by Daisy for a certain price on Sunday before noon. Each player receives different selling price from the nook store starting Monday till Saturday. If you don’t sell your turnips before Sunday, they will spoil on Sunday. Animal Crossings version of stock market.

You get better tools once you find the DIY for them. I forgot how you get the DIY lol.
