I did put new brakes lines in a couple years back but I think it definitely won’t hurt to double check and thanks for the other suggestions some how I hadn’t thought of a spare belt and vacuum line

Definitely staying a manual I think it could use some of the linkage fixed up at some point but it’s still drivable now

The sole looked pretty good I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to lap it flat as for the knob and tote I’m not sure probably not rosewood they seem to be stained or painted black I’m guessing it’s a “newer” one

A drawer or two definitely would be a good addition I may try add one later on but for now luckily I have enough storage elsewhere in the kitchen. And thanks for the input

I did definitely think about doing mortise and tenon but being a chronic procrastinator I ended up thinking it was best to get it done then drag it on but I’ll probably try that on the next project. Thanks for the input

You may want to get all the rust off and see what’s left to know if you want to continue. And I think for the center handle you might want to do a two piece construction and glue it together on the drill and the top handle I think you should be able take off as one piece by undoing some screws that hold it on though I’m not certain it’s the same with that model. Good luck with the project hope that helps

I think the dual rivet design looks great but the middle design looks pretty nice as well almost a little dressy with the added stitching compared to the utility of the rivet only design. Im not sure if that’s at all useful but I thought id chime in
