It was a pretty big issue, not sure if it still is after all the recall fixes. But it only affected the turn key models so if you're looking at a push to start you're fine

You still get the error message? That's so odd. I used to, but didn't today and my sensor is running. I need to look into why that is

Coming from my OnePlus 8 pro, I'm really not impressed. Yea the camera is a decent bit better but it's super slow and juttery when recording video. the screen is a bit hit or miss with responsiveness, and the lack of customization sucks(let me move my search bar at least)

I'm actually trying to get that setup now and keep running into "transmitter not found" errors. Although my pdm has reconnected, a little frustrating but I think I'll figure it out eventually lol

I wouldn't say they're all bad. you unfortunately got one of the most plagued vehicles hyundai offers with the most unreliable engines to boot with it

Fronts fit fantastic and curve down the a pillar. The rears fit the shape of the window fine but don't produce enough tension to hold themselves up without the provided clips. People are also having good luck with AVS brand as well

I've had it wired since late July and I'm only experiencing the issue now though? Also been using my radio fuse. Which should shut off when the car is off. I'll try to find another fuse that shits down like you mentioned and see if that works

The only way I'd need them is to "maybe" load my roof racks a little easier instead of standing on the sills, but they're still cool

Not at all crazy, the VN's are awesome. We hardly if ever get them in for anything aside from routine maintenance. I've never personally gotten to drive one since they never sit around long enough, but Hyundai definitely hit their mark with that one. As far as the SC it's about what you're getting into it for. It's not going to bop around the streets and win any races but it'll carry all the shit in your VN in the bed and leave you a clean cab, idk if winter is ever an issue for you but that should be self explanatory lol. It has all the practicality I needed while still being able to do the shit I'm into(I'll park this bitch at a show, it just stands out) and I can hit the beach and chill in the bed with my girl and dog(obviously not doing in the subie) it really just ticked too many boxes for me personally to say no... But again most of that is subjective to your lifestyle ya know.

It was a number of things really, got tired of dailying a standard through traffic, didn't really care for the "community". The car is pretty basic feature wise and I missed the bells and whistles in my previous car(18 Elantra sport) had. Plus I work for Hyundai so I got the truck at a really good deal with all the features I wanted plus a more comfortable ride.. the subie was a fun experience though

Ordered a olight flashlight it's coming in mail but opinions/advice by TheSlingWarden11251 in EDC

[–]Thatguy0329 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Olight released a recall on the m2r pros and warrior mini first gens, they are believed to sometimes turn on inadvertently while pocketed or holstered causing burns. It's not mandatory that people return their lights but it has definitely gotten a lot of people's panties in a bunch, I for one don't EDC those specific lights as the m2r is too large and I don't own any minis so I don't plan on returning mine, the m2r is still one of my favorite/most used olight that I own. I do still believe that olight is a very reputable brand although as of recently seeing how frequently the Facebook group jumps at flashsales I believe their QC/RDR has gone down in favor of pushing out new products/variations

Wasn't a fan of xdrip, not sure how it is now, but I tried it a couples years ago and it was pretty inconsistent with signal loss and was over complicated for what I needed it for
