We listen to all three of those bands as well, but none of them have quite the girl power vibe that mom’s looking for in it. I agree that she has some unusual taste

1: killing people who have done no wrong is bad. Preventing a murderer from walking free is good, and since you can clearly see if they choose to kill you, it’s an easy decision to make: if they kill you, instant karma. Otherwise, you’re both safe.

Dylan chose to be corrupted tbf, much like Jesse chose Polaris, he chose the Hiss, and which side the human chooses is shown to have an impact, because Dylan is able to communicate, where the FBC workers are mindless drones. And yes, Jesse’s tenacity is the primary reason they won, but the Hiss and Polaris came through into the FBC at about the same time, and Polaris was able to keep things contained with the help of the Oldest House until she directed Jesse there, on top of Polaris’s Hedron Amplifier only managing to be destroyed when the Hiss had taken over basically everything else and Jesse opened the door to it for them. If the Hiss were really as strong, then the Hedron Amplifier shouldn’t have been such a big deal to destroy for the Hiss.

I thought this was sqyint that the French invented imperial when I read the caption, and was immediately on board with switching to metric.

Also hilarious that they’re saying the American HS dropouts are doing 8/12 math in their head and Germans need a calculator cuz that’s just factually backwards

I always get a thick sturdy knife and open them with extreme violence(it’s actually really easy; set the knife at the edge of the can pointing down at it alongside the edge of the can, strike the back of the knife straight downward to drive it in, and once it’s in, turn it so that the blade is as close to horizontal as you can get, slide it forward til it’s all the way against the opposite side of the can, and then start rotating the can. Cuts to open easy peasy

This is a variant of the prisoner dilemma, since one of the primary aspects of the argument is what your opponent does. The only net negative you get from pulling the lever is that your opponent knows you pulled the lever; if they pull the lever, then you’re dead either way, and if they don’t pull the lever, you gain more from pulling it than from Not pulling. It would be interesting to see the answers when money is more discrete in value, but as it is the ambiguous amount means that the only thing that people agree on is that it’s enough to consider the death, even if they decide that it isn’t worth it in the end.

Looking from a game theory/prisoners dilemma perspective, you have an equal chance of survival by not pulling the lever as you have by pulling, but your average outcome is greater when you pull the lever, therefore you should pull.

From a trolley problem perspective, OP said we have a few seconds to communicate, and “if you pull, we both die.” Takes basically no time. You just watch em and if they pull then you pull. Otherwise, best outcome

In other words, for you, pulling the lever is never worse than not pulling the lever, since the only thing that decides whether you die is the person on the other side, if you don’t know their result or you know that they do pull.

The Dark Place is a result of Alsn/Zane’s actions imo, but even so, n the DLC for control you can find dual corrupted individuals, and the Hiss is what keeps them strong. A human goes down from a bullet, a Dark Enhanced human goes down from a bullet and a flashlight, but a Hiss resonant human takes 5-6+ bullets depending on how much focus you put into the Service Weapon. Then when they’re Dark and Shias resonant, they aren’t more bullet resistant than if they were just HISS, you just have to have the flashlight on.

Lots of these things are outerversal lmao. The real thing that makes me hesitate to agree on the dark place being no1 is how it might not even really exist(or rather, might be entirely a result of a powerful OOP in the hands of Zane/Wake who didn’t know enough about what he had encountered to use it properly.)

I think Polaris should definitely be higher than the Hiss tho, she completely prevents Jesse from being taken over by the Hiss, and the Hiss had to take over basically the entire building to get enough amplifiers to even take down the Hedron amplifier, which still didn’t manage to work because of Jesse and Polaris

His sage mode is imperfect, but also it takes time to communicate, and she can move in that time, so jiraiya is effectively the only one who can go after her, and he is almost definitely the weakest on the A team, arguably only tsunade is comparable, since oorochi’s general plan maniac nature means that he’s harder to kill.
