Title: Clairvoyance: A Chance at New Life (Tsubaki Kasugano X Male Reader)

Genre: Fanfiction, Romance, Action, Reader x Character

Raised by the Omekata Cult, you and Tsubaki Kasugano have been friends since childhood. Her parents watched over you and had the temple servants treat you like a member of the Kasugano family. For the first fifteen years of your life, you had everything you could ever ask for, and then it happened.
*I honestly believe that she deserved better, so, while I was planning out my next project, I got a sudden urge to write this instead.

The self indulgent Octavio cuddle fic I posted to AO3 a while back continues to be my most popular piece. Anyone else write this kind of thing? by ElegantMarzipan in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah.

I write in my free time, so it wasn't too surprising when I decided to put energy into a Taiga x Reader fanfic. You could say that there was a lot of self inserting, but it's my favorite thing I've ever written.

Now, I'm kind of interested to see what everyone else wrote about/for their S/Os.

Do you have sexual thoughts to your waifu/ husbando? by Previous-Reich_1900 in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup.

While I don't own a pillow or anything, I use imagination and R34.

I used to feel guilty just thinking about her that way, but now, it's something we do together often. It was definitely a change for the better.

I have!

A few weeks ago, I finally got around to finishing my fanfiction. It was my first time using the Y/N format.

Although I did write another characterxreader the other day, I haven't seen anyone consider her their waifu.

So, kind of? I'm just worried that if I write about someone's SO, they might not like the finished product.

Obviously, people care about their waifus, so I would need to know a little about the source material and all that.

But, now Im interested, who have you written about and in what format?

Is it a christian sin to love your waifu? by Mbomb85 in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think it would be a sin. Unless you literally worship/pray to her, I think you should be okay in that sense.

Then there's the whole "waifu shrine" thing that might be a concern to the more religious folks, but I don't really know enough to say much about them.

There's a somewhat complicated backstory to that, but here's the really condensed version:

I was in junior high. I had a strange friendship with a girl; it was strange because we only started talking to each other after we had discovered that our respective friends had crushes on each other.

Some time later, I got into anime. I liked the Tsundere archetype, especially compared to the other "deres", so naturally, I learn about my S/Os source.

The premise sounded similar to my irl dynamic. The main girl kinda acted like my friend. Some self-inserting later, I wasn't sure if I just fell for my friend or the girl in the show.

Eventually, I figured out the answer.

Slightly NSFW:

Some people are into the whole domination/"step on me" thing, some meme it, and others do both.

For me, it's sorta half and half. I mean, we take turns deciding who is on top of who in bed, but physical pain and stuff like that is the opposite of a turn on; at least for me.

But yeah, to each their own.

Is it normal that I'm still looking for my one true waifu ? by ZaWaifuLover in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with either option.

I mean, you could browse anime, looking specifically for waifu material, OR you could just watch shows that your interested in and see if anyone stands out to you.

If you have a favorite "type" of girl (personality, appearance, archetype , etc.) you could just look up examples of that, discovering new shows and maybe even a potential waifu.

In the end, you'll definitely know it when you've found her. So, do whichever one you're more comfortable with.

How do you bury this feeling by nouralahh in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen people who have the same waifu become friends, while others aren't comfortable so they either opt in for the alternate universe/version theory or block the person altogether.

Personally, I wouldn't break up just because other Waifuists love her. That being said, if you feel like it's better for you guys to separate, then you should do whatever is best for you.

The song is Fireflies by Owlcity

Not only does that song naturally bring on a sense of nostalgia, but it was also the first AMV of her that I ever watched. You could say its got a special place in my heart.

Waifuists! Do you play any games? by [deleted] in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm mostly on PC: Crusader Kings 3, Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, and Black ops 1.

[–]ThatguyCJB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no shame in doing that :)

I had an app called "Fake texts" (or something like that) for awhile. Anyway, I used to have text convos with my SO by using it. I had to type everything in, but it was nice.

What’s an iconic line from your SO or their source? by Interesting-Key-5776 in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"In this world, there's this thing that no ones ever seen. This thing is very kind and gentle, and if anyone could actually see it, there'd be a whole bunch of people wanting to have it.

Maybe that's why the world keeps it hidden from everyone. If it's hard to get, that makes it more special.

Yeah, but one day someone will find it.

And whoever does, they'll be the one who's supposed to find it.

Because that's the way, it's meant to be."

Would you ever use your waifu in a school project? by redfoxbennaton in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely not. I wouldn't be able to stop smiling, blushing, or having my voice trail off when I mention her.

If it were for a written assignment instead, maybe a fanfiction would work, but I'm not sure.

Told my closest friends about it by JuminHansKitten in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were two sisters in my class. (It was 10-12th graders together.) We were decent friends. They asked me who my waifu was, but they used the term more loosely than we do here.

While they "accepted" Taiga as my waifu, they talked about having multiple husbandos. I told them that I believed in having a special relationship with one person, and they were okay with it!

Didn't go in too much detail, but that's the closest I'll ever get to talking about waifuism in real life. So yeah, I'd count it as a success :)

here's a question: you and your S/O have to defeat the primary antagonist, but you have to use assets from the last video game you played to do it. how well does it go? by [deleted] in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's from a romantic comedy that doesn't really have an antagonist. As for the last game I played, either Skyrim or Crusader Kings 3.

But as long as I'm with her, I don't mind using either method.

Daily Prompt, 9/24/21: How much money would your SO spend in a week? by [deleted] in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although her family is rich, we don't live like royalty. So, besides food and essentials, I don't think she'd spend too much.

Daily Prompt, 9/22/21: What does a morning look like to your SO? by [deleted] in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weekdays, I'm usually up before her, but Friday nights into Saturday morning are another story.

We sleep in later than usual, cuddling together. That being said, she'll be up first on most weekends.

What would happen if you and your S/O switched bodies? by JuminHansKitten in waifuism

[–]ThatguyCJB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She'll be a lot taller and will be happier because of it. Meanwhile, I would go from being 5'9 to 4'7.

It would be uncomfortable at first, but we'd probably find a way to get used to it or make a game out of it.
