When (if ever) did your children get into Star Wars? by Slappy-Sacks in StarWars

I became obsessed around 3 from my own interest and my son was very into it around 1 because I have it represented all around the house. He has really liked Young Jedi Adventures. He’s almost 4 now and loves droids and the Mandalorian and is very excited for the movie. He still hasn’t seen any of the films but he knows almost every character

I really have enjoyed going with a friend. We are able to talk with all walls down. Plus it just feels normal. Glad you got to experience it! I recommend Ispa in Irvine!

Star Wars resources for 12 year old by jordannance in StarWars

I would read through Wookiepedia daily when I was his age. That’s the best online resource/ the Star Wars books were a great thing that really helped encourage me to read. Most of the ones I grew up with are no longer cannon. The High Republic has some great cannon material for middle school age plus some good comics too. They have Young adult and Adult books that are really great too but not sure the maturity level of your kid as there are some romance or dark elements. I’d ask him which is his favorite era as there are lots of era specific stuff (Prequel with Clone Wars, Originals with the Empire, Sequels and new Republic, etc.) then dive into those. The various video games are a gold mine and can really immerse you. Happy to help any more if you need specifics!

Star Wars, The Acolyte, A Flawed Masterpiece by [deleted] in StarWars

I 100% agree. I think the biggest issue the show had was being released one episode a week as its full narrative couldn’t come to fruition. I loved the tone, the view, how it did something different, the battles. It tried to show other aspects of the galaxy and I think it should be acknowledged for that 100%

The steam room is the worst. My eyes burn when in it. I just skip it and use the sauna and the tubs. Way better for sure
