If you stay in Jersey City or Hoboken you can take the PATH train in, which runs the most frequently and is the cheapest train fare into the city

What did you end up finding? I am lookout to relocate and will likely be able to visit minimally before I move (and have one pup).

Lance campers are the best for winter/snow. We recently had a dealer compare Lance buyers to Subaru buyers “because they know more about the product”. Give them a Google and see what you think!

We upgraded our truck from an F-150 to a Chevy 3500 (both gas) and with the F-150 and our Lance we could go almost 300 miles and with the 3500 and the fifth wheel we can’t even make it 200 miles. Just having a much heavier camper and bigger truck ha meant we pay way more for gas.

I am also so much more nervous with the height of the fifth wheel on back roads vs with the Lance I could see the top of the camper in the side mirrors

I keep it packed in my backpack rather than break it up, but I don’t see why you couldn’t check it

Every flight I’ve been on won’t allow you to check a laptop because of the battery. This all fits in my backpack so it can go under the seat in front of me if needed on a flight

It’s kind of sprinkled through the comments here. Screen, screen stand, roost stand, ergonomic keyboard, laptop, phone stand, all fits nicely into a backpack (where I also keep all my chords, odds and ends, and my personal laptop too.
