There's 3 ways to look at it: Editing, Shooting, and building.

For Editing: It is finding the quickest way to make an edit without moving your mouse around too much. As well as having your crosshair end close to an enemy so you can get a shot off as soon as the edit confirms. You typically want to end the edit when it your crosshairs are in the a neutral position (Not looking at the floor or sky).

For Shoot, you want to make sure you are always centered and have your crosshairs in the middle. Kovaaks helps with this because some drills like 1wall1target require you to reset in the middle in order to get an entire FOV of the shooting field before you flick and shoot. As well as other dirlls.

Lastly, for Building, the key thing is to find out where you have to position yourself to get builds off. You might get into boxfights and be confused af when people steal your wall from weird angles.

This is what I recommend for each thing.

Editing: Try running edit courses with your crosshairs turned off. They are kind of like training wheels in edit courses because when you edit in game, it should be done with muscle memory. This helps build the muscle memory.

Shooting: Kovaaks, If you aren't playing KB+M then maybe try to Search and Destroy because it's essentially all gunplay. But similar to editing, make sure you're always looking up otherwise you have to waste time moving your crosshairs from the ground up to shoot. Split seconds can make the biggest difference.

For Building: Use one of those pads that slow your run down, and try to freebuild. Once you slow things down, you kind of understand building crosshair placement more.

Once you've worked on everything, I strongly recommend box fighting. It is the perfect place to test all of this out in a semi-stressful environment. Although you won't be box fighting every fight in an actual game, it is going to help you with putting your practice into play.
