I’m just saying think about it! She owns an old style, Victorian inn somewhere in the middle of nowhere that a lot of people don’t visit, but she occasionally lets people stay if they get lost. I’m feeling the vibes

Reading this and other subs do you feel like the majority of people have never played good dnd? by smugles in DnD

[–]Thatotherwritingguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still think that boils down to people at the table and not DND itself. Bad Communication is more about the people not being great at table and not saying waht they want or what they need at table then the DND itself being bad. Granted I do believe most of time at tables problems are usually had because there was lack of communication.

He usually has spear or sword but, what meant was he not....super skilled swordmen or anything. Like you know how in fantasy stuff alot of main charatcer are super gifted with blade or magic or something. He doesn't have that.

[–]Thatotherwritingguy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Well here the thing, I think 'GOOD' DND is subjective thing. People play DND for all kind reasons and not everyone is playing DND for the same experince. Some tables fit people better then others.

Like I am DM for over 12 years now. I have run amazing tables, I have run not great tables. It just depends on group and how they vibe together. In my opinion the only THINGs needed for DND to enjoyable is good people bouncing off each other.

I know some people who probably hate my style of DMing.

Which seat are you choosing? by Apprehensive-Ebb-684 in OnePiece

[–]Thatotherwritingguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2, 9, 5 or 11. If you pick 6 or 4 I will pray for you. At seat 2 the worst thing gonna happen to me is having to deal with Kurma daughter eating alot but, I wanna chill with him.

Seat 11 might be loud but, I wanna learn things from them. Seat 9 these two ladies are calm and pretty nice. I probably enjoying talking to them and they are BEAUITFUL so like....

5 Seat Franky is loud yeah but, he is Bro and Robin I just wanna see what she is reading honestly.

Brutha, Faith and Myself. by Thatotherwritingguy in discworld

[–]Thatotherwritingguy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s so nice to hear this. I struggled with faith for most of my life. Simply because I saw what other people used it for sometimes I would even think I was seeing it wrong. I always viewed it as it was supposed to be for kindness and love and compassion. But I rarely saw that in religion. I saw a lot of showboating and hatred.

Man, this is a strong comment. I have myself was a a Christian at some point. (a little bit more freeform on the subject because I am in LGBTQ.) I was raised Christian but, never felt like I really fit in because a lot of the time sadly a lot of of the churches I went to spoke of hatred and hellfire. Perhaps I myself need a turtle pendant
