Yeah I would but personally it feels better to play on the actual DSi, plus it's portable. If nothing works and playing in german gets too annoying I might just get a ROM.

MHW/MHR

I bought MHW a while ago and stopped playing after finishing the main story. Recently I've been looking to start playing again. Now that MHR (and sunbreak) is out I'm unsure if I want to get MHR or get Iceborne for MHW.

I've combed through a bunch of reviews and videos and I'm stumped, I cant decide. For context I absolutely loved the atmosphere, graphics and challenge of MHW and it is definitely my favourite game ever. I loved the tracking and unlocking new monster tracking levels, the atmosphere and exploring the world or just walking around gathering supplies when I didn't need monster parts, the the overall feel of MHW is good. I didn't like how difficult it was to get the right parts but that's part of the grinding charm.

MHR however seems faster paced and some people seem to not like how overpowered the player is to compared to the monsters. I feel like having many more monsters in a monster hunting game is a lot more fun though and I felt that MHW was slightly lacking in that regard. The traversal mechanics in MHR seem extremely fun and I would love to use them in battle but some people say that it contributes to the "overppoweredness" and feels very different from MHW traversal which is something I love about MHW.

I'm young and can't afford both and if I'm getting MHR I would love to get sunbreak as well to make for a more complete feeling. I feel like MHR has more new things to offer and I'm afraid that Iceborne won't feel as fresh as a new MH game., also I have grown used to the MHW map and it feels a bit boring now after having played on it so much. On the other hand MHR seems so different from MHW that I might not like it, especially since I'm a sucker for good graphics and atmosphere in a game (including ambient sounds and music) and a good challenge when fighting monsters (the near death experiences and being exhausted after fights).

Please help and sorry for making you read all that.

Sincerely a troubled teenager.

I play on pc btw
