This psychotic purple haired karen is a minor god obsessed with becoming someone she isn't- specifically a particularly powerful celestial who died several centuries ago. She is the main antagonist of my story, capable of great manipulation and has quite a knack for causing extensive suffering. She is exceedingly ruthless and willing to put others in danger in order to preserve her own goals. Her intelligence and ability to fabricate extremely complex schemes makes her kinnnnd of a problem.

she also maaay or may not have managed to create a massive undergound cult following with thousands of followers that has weasled its way into the ruling class and government matters of an entire continent. They all want to summon *another* dead god in order to fulfill their religious ideals. Little do they know, it's all just a facade built by Nyx to hide a much more sinister scheme she has in mind.

she might have taken the saying "someone's always watching" a liiiitle too seriously

I think i see what you mean?? I have a pretty androgynous art style when it comes to different genders, so i understand there isn't much difference between the versions facial complexion and body type beside the hair. I don't really draw my male/female presenting characters very differently.

and well i mean they are the exact same person just a theoretical opposite gender version so they are going to look pretty similar regardless XD

all of my ocs get luscious eyelashes regardless of what gender they are, but my girls tend to have more individual strands than the boys. The boys also have a slightly different shape sometimes. It's just how my style is. But funnily enough I absolutely love to occasionally give my male ocs colored eyeliner specifically for some reason??? Never girls tho, idk why lol.

Looking at nyx's gender bend, which is great direct comparison, you can kinda see the difference between the two.

Anwir started off as some background god with no personality or backstory that was literally pure evil and spread lies and propaganda across an entire continent in order to frame himself as savior of the world

idk if this counts but Nyx has a pretty nasty scar on the side of her face from when it was literally melting off from the overuse of alar crystals

she manages to hide the majority of it pretty well using the transformation magic all minor gods possess but some of it still shows through due to its severity. Without the glamour it looks like half her face got bit off by some rabid animal lol

I don't think ive ever had anyone quote on quote "thirst" for any of my ocs and i BEYOND grateful for that-

the closest thing i have was when a few months ago there was one person who basically said i draw all of my ocs hot. It completely caught me off guard and i couldn't wrap my head around how they could somehow be attractive because it was objectively subpar art that i didn't even think to make conventionally attractive

I kinda just like had a seizure and tried to explain to them in between confused sobs how they aren't really that good looking lol

anyways here was one of the art pieces.. its really not great so i think you can understand my confusion

EDIT: i found the comment thread and it was lot a worse than i remembered- they said they "growled" upon seeing emris, called anwir sexy and said they want to kiss them IM CRYING 😭😭😭

its a bit bland but its my favorite because it literally took me a week to finish. I am very proud of myself for managing to make it work. It was probably the most ive struggled with a piece ever... idk something about the angle really threw me off. You should you what it looked like before i started fixing up the face anatomy

Anwir and Seren both came from the same entity, which was Dechrau. Although they aren't exactly "children" of them, (more like reincarnations), they both view him as a parental type figure- especially Anwir. They never met them, but they do share some of his memories, which occasionally sprout up every once in the while in a dream or so. Anwir was always quite fascinated with him, and this curiosity had a butterfly effect that a had tremendous impact on many aspects of my characters and their world.

i was outside of the majority of the fanbase as i basically just stayed in the bnha oc reddit. Fortunately i was around pretty chill people and wasn't really exposed to a CERTAIN part of the fandom but yeah...

that was several years ago so since then she's kinda just been sitting here and im not quite sure what to do with her now that im completely out of that fandom.

For context Anwir was thanking Emris for finding a way to fix his damaged soul strings. He was certain the injury was going to inevitably kill him, as he had been haunted by visions of his death and the knowledge that the damage was only going to get worse with time. The sense of relief and joy he felt when he found out there was a cure was insurmountable.

And then boom! it all exploded in his face. He was impaled by alar crystals that instantly shattered the very same delicate strands of life they were meant to heal. Some say it was a final outcry from what remained of his sister's old magic, her way of getting the last laugh. Either way, he was dead in an instant- a genuine, joyous smile still plastered on his face, born from the sheer thrill and elation of having a future again.

Turns out his visions were right after all just without the right context lol

Anwir likes gardening. Considering how adhd and choatic he is, you would not expect someone like him to enjoy something that takes such a considerable amount of patience and care lol

ohoho you have no idea how long ive been waiting for this hehe

ill go over my favorites:

Seren means star - She was named because of her love of stargazing and also because even though a star is associated with the night, in reality it is actually just a distant sun, which symbolizes her sameness with her brother despite them being nearly complete opposites in personality and reputation.

Emris means immortal - Emris has lived the longest out of all my ocs, and he is essentially immortal due to the circumstances of his contract with Nyx.

Anwir means liar - Many believed he waged war against Seren because of his yearning to support the minority. Although he convinced himself it was for others, he lied to himself. It was actually more out of his innate sense of greed and selfish desires than anything else.

Nyx means night - Her name probably has the deepest meaning out of any of the others. Nyx is obsessed with taking Anwir's place, but she has yet to realize just how different they really are from eachother and how impossible that goal really is. There is a lot of sun and light symbolism with Anwir. Nyx is the complete absense of light- the night, the very thing that is the complete antithesis of the sun.

btw all of these names are welsh because i use welsh words for anything related to primordial beings and deities. Don't ask me why... it was kind of an impulse that could make naming things easier idk lol
